MISTAKE 12

"I can't believe this!"

Neither I couldn't believe it. After ten long years here I am again standing infront facing my worst enemy.

Cousins are supposed to be close right?

Well in our case you got that wrong.

He was always my number one rival in everything we never get along with each other.

I grew up competing with him in everything. I wanted to be the best in the eyes of many but this guy infront of me seems to be always in my way.

I hated how most of our clan adored him. It was always him who stands out. I was always second best.

Even my parents admired my cousin so much to the extent that I envy him so much. I did my best in my field in the business so that my parents would notice me, that  they would be able to realize I could be better than my cousin.

I looked at my cousin and I saw he was looking at Sydelle. Not just any look but a look of admiration.

I tightened my grip on Sydelle's arm even more.

I dragged Sydelle with me away from My cousin. When we we're a couple of distance away from him he said something. Words that are enough and clear for me to hear.

"Take care of that wife of yours Marco you'll never know one day someone will be able to take her."

No.

Not this time. I won't let him have what he wants. Even if I have to keep Sydelle with me forever then be it.

I want my cousin to taste his own medicine.

The pilot said we are about to take off. Our flight was smooth.

I just kept silent along the way.

The place was so breathtaking. I wanted to do more today but I felt tired.

All I wanted now was to have some sleep. My eyes were already heavy and I feel like I can't even carry my luggage anymore.

I'm tired.

It was already night time when we arrived.

Our service was here and I quickly settled myself inside the car while Marco sat beside me.

I looked up in the sky from the car window. I was surprised to see a falling star.

There was only one thing I wanted to wish for. Just for now. All I wanted was...

"I wish Marco would be good to me. Even just for this time. I wish"

After that everything went black.

She wished for me to be good to her even just for this time?

After saying her wish she dozed off to sleep already. I looked at my wife and as I can see She's having a hard time on her sleeping position.

Her head was bumping on the car window. I swiftly changed her position and placed her head in my shoulder while one of my hand is wrapped around her.

I was a bit startled when she wrapped her hands around my abdominal area.

If you would picture us both right now you could really tell that we are a couple.

This was the most intimate position we had when we became husband and wife.

Her hug was warm. It was relaxing. I hate to admit it but I like it. I like the way her hug sent me tingles.

I stroked her hair.

"AhsgbsjxbdMarco...awjsb"

She was mumbling something when I heard her say my name.

Even in her dreams I was there. I let out a small chuckle.

This girl really is crazy for me.

I remembered her wish earlier.

Maybe it isn't that bad if I would be good to her. Maybe I would be able to get to know her. I won't loose anything in this.

I'll just give it a try.

We arrived at the beach resort already. I woked Sydelle up. She was surprised to see herself wrapping her arms around me.

She quickly untangled herself from me.

Naaawwe No Fun. Her hug was great.

I showed her a smile.

"Let's go?" I reached for her hand and she accepted it.

So now we are walking hand in hand towards the front desk of the resort.

I knew she was still confused by the way I'm acting right now  but it doesn't  matter.

What you wish for is what you get.
