chapter 39

anurag and shweta stood Infront of the icu as they watch kairav being operated. the images of his fragile son was to be imprinted on his mind forever.

anurag: mom, kisine jaan booch kar yeh sab kiya. mujhe lagtha hein ki accident was intended for naira. ek baar mujhe pata chala ki woh kaun hein jo meri family ko nuksaan phocha ne pe ada hua hein, mein usse hodunga nehi

their talks were disrupted when the doctor came and told anurag something that will haunt him forever. his little kairav. his son. had passed away. never to breath another breath.anurag felt his heart get detached. the thought made him want to puke. but its all written in destiny. what can he do. his vision started blurring and 

He jolted up from the dream. sweating. only to find he was in a hospital room. with an iv connected. he ripped the iv off his arm and walked towards the hospital corridors. 

anurag: Kairav? kairav? mera beta kaha hai? woh theek hein? 

Shweta: woh theek hein baccha.. kairav bilkul theek hein orr naira bhi... tum behosh hogaye the

doctor: mr. basu aapki wife koh hum delivery ke liye prepear kar rahe hein. accident ke vajah se yeh zaroori hogaya hein but you dont worry. this would be the best for the baby and mother 

anurag: what? itni jaldi? 

doctor: yeah and aap apne ghar se saare forms or reports jaldi se leke aajana

shweta: anu beta baby's bag bhi ghar par hein tum jaldi se sab lekar aa jao tab thak mein sab ko inform kar thi hoon

anurag: ji maa

anurag dashed out of the hospital and quickly drove back to basu mansion. praying to god to keep his wife and kids safe. he had turned his whole room upside own trying to find the bag which carried all the baby's necessities .

Anurag: oh god jab bhi mein koi cheez doondtsa hoon tho milta nehi hein. agr mein vagth par nehi pohoch paya tho naira mujhe kacha kaajayeigi. oh god i feel so lightheaded. no no anurag beta ur stonger than this. chal baccho ke room mein dhekthe hein. 

he had found the bag in akshu's room and took some of akshu's clothes with him too as he thought she would be needing some. he was about leave the house when he remembered about the mess he had to clean. as naira would get really mad if their room was upside down when she comes home with the baby.

it took anurag a good 30 mins to sort everything out and even put up some decorations in the hall to welcome the baby

house help: sir, yeh sab hum kardete hein aap madam ke pass jaldi se hospital jaaye 

anurag: accha theek hai thank thank you so much

anurag gets in his car and drives off to the hospital.

meanwhile in the hospital:

doctor: maam aap please hume aapko delivery room mein lejaane dijjiye. aapka labor shuru horaha hein

naira: nehin please anurag ane thak wait karne dho

shweta: naira, bacha zidd mat karona. anurag ataa hi hoga

naira had no choice but to go to the delivery room without anurag. 

anurag's pov

I could see the doors to the delivery room shut. i ran so much that my legs were going to give out and still i couldn't make it on time. ladaku ladki toh mujhe kacha kaajayegi. I had to make rounds of the whole god danmm city because i was so happy i forgot where the hospital was.

i could see all our family members waiting outside the room. well it seems like im the last person to arrive. its funny how mad everyone is. my mom and neela maa didnt even budge without giving me a lifetime worth lecture. naksh was trying too hold me back, thoguh he could do only little to stop me from barging through the door where the doctors were operating on my pregnant wife. jab iska time ayega thab bataaunga issey.

i could here naira's painful cries. oh how i wish i could be with my love. but since i was too late they wouldn't let me enter 

sab ne kaha tha ki yeh meri saza hein. how dare they. they all are my worst enemies. naksh could only make it worse with his taunting remarks. i was about to punch his oh so pretty fsace when i heard it.

i was finally allowed to enter the room. i couldn't describe what i was feeling at that exact moment. 

"congregations beti hui hai" 

meri khsuhhi kaa toh thikana hi nehi tha. then i saw her. bundled up in my lovely wife's arms. 

the sudden swam of tears rolled down my eyes. this was a moment i'll forever carve in my heart

naira hands the baby on to anurag. while he freaked out

naira: dar kyun rahe ho thumhari tho beti hein

anurag: idk agar what... what if my hands are too rough for her. she's so small agr mere haath se baby gir gayi toh...mein..

naira: arre baba kuch nehi hoga lo

naira hands the baby over to anurag despite his reluctance. but after holding his girl he fekt so happy. his baby had smiled and cooed at him. he relaxes and brings her close to his heart.

naira: aww dheka meine kaha tha na... orr kya naam rekhenge hum baby ka?

anurag: Anaira.... Anaira Anurag Basu

naira: wow.. from both our names. bohot pyaara naam hein anu

anurag sits beside naira and kisses the crown of her head.

anurag: thankk you so much naira.mujhe yeh theeno bacchi ke papa banaane ke liye. i couldn't be more happier. kairav, akshu orr anaira sab papa ke jaan hein.

naira: hmm sab pyaar apne bacche ko dhoge mujhe meri toh koi kadar hi nehi hein kisiko

anurag: arre baba you have my whole heart

 naira: toh pir kun nehi aaye mera haath pakad ne ke liye. delivery time pe?

anurag: mein ayaa tha phar thab toh tumhe andar leke unlogo ne darwaza band kardiya tha. phir itna kehene ke baad bhi kisine mujhe andar aane nehi diya

naira: aww

anurag: but its okay baba abhi toh poori zindagi hein. orr hamein toh hamara cricket team complete karna bhi heina

naira: ANURAAAG mein abhi abhi delivery se aayi hoon orr tum...

anurag: achaa bas bas okay 

the whole family enters the room and meets the baby. it was one day to remember

thank you thank you so much for waiting this long. im so so sorry for not uploading a new chapter but i promise I am back to writing regularly. its just that situations were as such that i wasn't able to upload a new chapter. and yess thank you for 100k reads too. icouldn't be more happier. last chapter coming soon.
