Where Am I?

Chapter 4: Regret

I pack my bag but.. somethings odd out here.. and there I figure out! "Mom where are my 8th, 9th, 10th books!" I ask with a very high tone. "Its enough!! Have you thought your room as a museum or what? Old books which are now of no use!!! Why to keep them in your room huh?? There is something called storeroom and you'll find them there .. there is nothing to yell for.. ok?!" She says angrily. "OK! OK! But atleast could you ask me once?" I asked. "Fighting with your mom? Huh? Are you arguing Nakamura??" she says. "OK mom." With a sad tone.
After a few minutes I realize something missing while packing my bag. "Mom!! Where's my science text book which I had kept upon these 8th-10th books yesterday!" I ask. "May be in the storeroom. Where else? If you want go and get it!" She yells from the kitchen. "Uhh..! Fine I'm going to get it!" I reply and head straight towards the storeroom. I find my science text book and get a relief. Besides the books I find some papers in the box which were mostly the research papers of mine. But for now as I was getting late and thought to look after it later. I hurriedly go to college.
My day in college went as usual. And I come back running from the college. And firstly I went in the storeroom and brought the box out. My mom comes near me coughing. "What's this? Whatever it is I want you to keep it back in the storeroom!" She orders. "Mom! Please not now! I really need it. Let me go!" I run into my room after telling this. I keep the box on the floor and I get to see my research papers after a long time. I read it and while reading I felt really bad that I left the work incomplete. I really regret about this. But it was not too late. With a smile on my face, I finally thought of completing the work.
As I already had some theory work. I thought to begin with the practical work the next day. "Mom, I'm taking a leave tomorrow for college!" I inform to my boss that is my mom. "What went wrong?" She asks me in a funny way. "Something went right so I'm taking a leave tomorrow and mom... for gods sake please don't tell no mom!" I request her with the cutest eyes for I knew she wouldn't ignore my wish. "OK!!" she says and there I'm in another world of excitement. For today, I had plans of ordering the required materials through online. I even bought tools for my work. Now all I needed was to wait for tomorrow.
