Chapter 7: A day with her

A few months later..
I love Christmas vacation and its too cold today. My time machine is half done. Today for the first time I'm going to ask a delivery girl if she wants to come along with me to the Golden park. We just used to have a very small conversation every time we meet but today I want to spend sometime with her and also I'm going to call my best friend to come along because he makes me feel my presence. I pick my phone lying on the table and message her first "Hey hi! Would you like to come with me today?" I ask. "But where?" She asks back. "Golden park. So now will you come?". "Yes, sure!" she replies immediately. I see her only as my friend but yet I cannot understand why I am blushing right now.

In Sakura's house..
Sakura: "Mom! As today I don't have any work I'm going out to spend some time with my friends."
Mom: I hope they aren't boys there among your friends..
"No mom none of them are boys".. My mom is always behind me. She thinks its not good for me to hangout with any of my friends especially boys. But she doesn't know that today with whom I'm going out are all boys. I feel really bad to lie but I have to lie my mom or else I'm very sure that I won't be allowed to step out today. My mom is a homemaker and my father... *sighs* he is not in the world. I have a step father and he is the one I hate in the whole world. You know why? Because he is behind me! My marriage! He is sure to torture my mom after my marriage as till I'm here nothing can happen to her. But.. I don't want to marry at all to someone that he is going to choose. For now my innocent mom is under his control till then everything was good before. My life has become a hell and I work as a delivery girl to fulfill the needs and requirements of my family. My dream was to be a scientist but nevermind dreams always remain as dreams nothing can be done.
"Where are you lost??" My mom asks. "Um nothing much. Can I go?" I ask her. "Hmm.. ok. Come back at the earliest" she tells. "OK mom"..

In Nakamura's house.
I have no choice but to wear my lab outfit as I have to complete this work too. But I hope no one known to me sees me. OK I'll leave now. "Mom I'll come back soon. Bye!". "OK!!". I reach there on time and I see Haruki waiting for me. But I couldn't see Sakura anywhere. We waited for a couple of more minutes and then she comes running. "Hey! Sorry guys" she says while huffing. "Its ok.. not an issue" I replied. "I think we should have a lot of fun today guys !!!" Screams Haruki. "No. Not now. Before that.. you stay here we will come back after a small walk.." I inform Haruki. "Wait what? But why?" She asks. "Stop asking questions miss innocent and come along with me" I tell her and we go away from there. After walking a certain distance, "Now tell me, what's that you want to talk?" She asks. "Actually I want you... " and then Haruki interrupts in between from behind. "What are you both speaking Nakam???!!!" He asks. "You? But.. I told you to.." and again he interrupts in between "What do you mean by that? You were going to tell something and I won't be there? This makes my heart ache you know? I'm a childhood friend and she is a new friend but still you found it more important to share with her but not me?? It's enough even I want to know what your going to speak...". He gives me a long lecture as boring as the college lectures. "Over? All somethings left to say?" I ask him. "Noo.. n-o-t-h-i-n-g-s left!!" He replies. "OK! Then listen!!" I say. I felt that it would cause less problem in involving him in my secret than not telling him. "I'm creating a time machine" I say. "What??? Bro...!! are you serious??" He laughs while asking. "Yes, Iam.". "What? Nakamura are you really going to invent time machine??.." she asks in a shocking state. "Yes guys, whats the problem?". I tell them the entire story. "Oh! Can I join you?" She asks deliberately. She tells her entire story on how she has dreamt of becoming a famous scientist since her childhood. I smile and say "Actually, I've called you for the same reason. I wanted to ask you if you want to join me. But on hearing you, it seems that this will be a good opportunity as well as satisfaction for your soul if I'm not wrong?". "Yes, but I'll come in the evening everyday as you know that I have to work almost the whole day.." she says. "Its ok.. no problem in that.." I reply her. "Even I'm joining you if I'm not wrong?" Haruki asks. "Of course, will you let me live if I say no?" I laugh and ask. "Um.. yeah.. I won't!" He laughs. "Ok then everyday starting from tomorrow evening we will work on this till 9pm.. I hope its ok for Sakura?" I ask. "Um.. well.. ok.." she replies worriedly. By looking at her, I tell her that I will be dropping her to home quickly everyday. "OK then. Great!" She exclaims. I could feel her happiness. After this, we all three go to malls, theater and finally a restaurant to eat and enjoy to the fullest. But I had never seen Sakura so happy before, this makes me feel happier. "Today was a marvelous day! I would never forget it." She says with enthusiasm.
