As the week went on, Y/N didn't have any troubles at all. She helped Harry, Ron and Hermione multiple times when Ada was out with Oliver. Not that it bothered Y/N, she was happy to help the younger students.
It was Friday, and Y/N thought about her now favorite teacher, professor Lupin. She couldn't help but hope he wasn't what he thought he was, if he was, Y/N would be cast away from her home. The only thing she could think of was if he would be feeling better. Maybe it was just coincidence if Lupin fell ill, when the moon was full and shining bright.
Other students may have no seconds thoughts about it, but Y/N certainly did. Right now, she stood besides Ada, who stood beside Oliver of course, spreading out dirt on the table for the sake of their class. Herbalism was Y/N her least favorite, she rather waved her hand to conjure a dead thrall or a flame atronach. But no, now she was forced, for the sake of her grades to continue digging a whole in the dirt.
"I imagined that this would be more fun." Y/N grimaced as the solid earth came under her fingernails. "How come? You do like potions, you are now just planting your ingredients for them." Oliver replied, Ada on the other hand was swinging to a inaudible beat in her head. This was her strongest class.
"That's the whole point, I like potions, but planting this stuff? Too much work." She wiped her hands, seeing that she was finally done. "I'm glad this is over." Y/N mumbled, looking over to her friends. "Guys, if it is both okay with you, I'd like to go read in the library." Knowing that the couple won't have any problems with that, she felt like she didn't even need to ask.
"Of course, you know where to find us if you are done reading!" Ada waved at her as Y/N already was walking out, waving back slightly. But she didn't go to the library, it was only a simple excuse that they wouldn't question.
Y/N spend time there regularly, mostly everyday since she tutored Hermione with her werewolf assignment. The Gryffindor girl was interested in all the ancient gods Y/N knew. It was her culture, and Hermione being Hermione, wanted to absorb all the information Y/N had to offer. She made way to her destination, walking among shadows, trying to stay hidden from anyone else.
"Y/N!" Hermione called out the the older girl, making Y/N look up from her own assignment. "Hey, what's up?" Y/N smiled quickly, closing her book to show Hermione that she was all ears. "I was wondering, if you are up to it of course, if you maybe would consider-"
"Just ask me Mione." Y/N cut her off, seeing her breath in shortly, "I'm actually really interested in knowing more of your culture." Y/N smiled, using wandless magic to let the chair beside her move. "What do you want to know?" Y/N looked at her, then at the empty chair, back to the girl. Telling her to take a seat.
"How many gods are there? And, like you told me about Hircine, does everyone have their own specialty?" Hermione was bombarding Y/N with questions, and Y/N signaled her to stay silent. "Let's do one at a time alright?" Hermione nodded, taking out her quill and ink, alongside some parchment to write everything down.
"In short, we have in my culture, 9 Devines or Aedra and 17 Daedric Princes. The 9 are the so called good ones, the 17 others-"
"Are the bad ones then?" Y/N shook her head, continuing where she left off. "The Daedra are from another plane, far more powerful in a way, they have more to offer. But there is always a catch that they are not mentioning. That is why you need to be sure if you want to invest your time in them. If you stop, some may call you a false servant. But they are not all bad, some are fair in what they request. Others not so much."
"So, which one is Hircine then?" Y/N smiled at her curiosity, "He is a Daerdric prince, but a fair one like I said before. He gives his prey the chance to become the hunter." Y/N didn't want to praise him that much, but it was only fair to Hermione to explain his ways.
