It felt good to be home. That was the only thing on her mind, being home. No worries about what would happen, just the good old memories from before all of that. About how she grew up here, made awesome friends, learned about moving on...
But the most important details was that she made it to a wonderful new family. Even if that family was actually just one person. Alongside her death hound, Y/N made her way to the house up the hill.
It was slightly hidden, if you didn't know it was there, you would never really know. It made Y/n wonder why her parents chose to live next to Eoin. After all, it was hidden? She didn't think anything else of it, and just made her way to the door, leaving her footprints behind in the freshly fallen snow.
It was located next to the Bleak Falls Barrow, bandits surrounded the crypt, but being vampires, they had nothing to fear. The bandits, they had every right to be scared. One foot across the hidden border, and the only thing that could be found was a dried out body.
Y/n sniffed the fresh air, letting the smell of the trees fill up her nostrils. But mostly, comparing the air here, with that of her school. Skyrim was a land, found in the north of Tamriel. There was no real industrial life here.
But that was because of the time change here. If someone would enter this realm, they would be shocked. Actually shocked about how 'primitive' it was here. Just the Middle Ages in a way, 9 main holds, with Whiterun being the closest to her home.
None really suspected her and Eoin for being vampires. All because they were so smart to visit regularly, even when the sun is bright, they risk their lives to appear mortal. After the years, Y/N got used to it. Of course she rather had clouded and rainy weather, the night to her preference, but now she did not look like a possible vampire.
She remembered how she used to get different kind of of vegetables and fruits before going to the hunters market stand, buying some fresh meat. They used it in case some would visit, in case they lost the way. For actual blood, they would go to the castle, or a dear friend who would help them out.
She stood in front of the door, ready to knock. But the door was already opened, as she was being greeted by her aunt. "Y/N! You are finally here!" Y/N her smile grew, the excitement of Eoin radiated off of her, and she absorbed it.
"I know, your letter seemed rather important, I couldn't let that slip right?" She scratched the back of her neck, feeling a bit ashamed that it took an emergency note to get her home. "I should've done that sooner to be honest. You already need to go tomorrow, lord Harkon will help you with the portal."
Y/N took a deep breath before releasing it. She tried to relax, but was met with Eoin her hand under her chin, lifting up her head. "It will be alright child. You tried your best, maybe that will pay off?" Y/N smiled weakly, but the dropped mood was instantly returned when Eoin pulled her into a welcoming hug.
As they hugged, y/n heard her aunt smell her intensively, sniffing around her neck to find out what the smell was. "What is it?" She just asked her, not wanting it to be left alone. "Why do you smell like a wet dog?" Y/n her eyes widened. She forgot to erase Remus his scent, but not that Y/n could do anything anymore.
Eoin realized as soon as she spoke out the words. Gripping her shoulders, she looked dead in her eyes. "Why did you go against my rules? I said no werewolves!" Y/n bit her lip, ashamed to tell her, but it was Eoin, she needed to know.
"I may or may not have been-"
"Don't say what I think you are going to say." Eoin pointed her finger at her, but it was all because of the fact that she wanted to protect the younger girl. "How do you know what I am going to say?"
