The next morning came sooner than expected. The night before, she and Remus talked for a bit longer, until the sun started to rise. She knew that she had to see Ada before departure and so she did.

Ada, understood, without complaining or even questioning things. She simply agreed to the terms of having a vampire friend, including the sudden journeys that are now making a lot more sense then they used to do before she came clean.

Ada offered her an amount of blood, so she could safely use her magic to travel back home. Y/N, being the smart woman she is, send Ada out of the room, so she could go back to the daily life at Hogwarts, without risking Ada to follow her to her 'modern' world.

Y/N paces anxiously in their bedroom at Hogwarts, clutching a worn-out book, that Cicero had given her the night before, a small diary that seemed to be hers when she was with the brotherhood. With a surge of determination, Y/N decided it was time to attempt a risky spell to generate a portal back to her beloved land. It felt different this time, not like before when she traveled with Garmr.

"Alright, nothing to serious, we have done this before." She whispered to the death hound, whom was already set to go back. "I don't know why, but it feels like I can't. Like something is holding me back." Garmr howled, understanding what she meant and even having his own thoughts about it.

Y/N takes a deep breath, shaking her head trying to focus on her vampire lord powers coursing through her veins. She focused upon the conjuring magic she was specialized in, focusing her thoughts on the snow-covered mountains and sprawling landscapes of Skyrim. Raising her hands, Garmr stood right night beside her. Y/N pushed against the magic that was being used against her and the portal opened with its purplish glow.

Crackling with raw energy. They both can feel the pull of Skyrim on their soul, beckoning them back to the land they called home.

Once through the portal, Y/N had both her feet in the cold snow, breathing in the fresh air that wasn't interrupted with industrial smoke and such. Y/N looked down, meeting the eyes of Garmr as they made a silent agreement.

Changing her clothes.

Her powers were filled, but she felt that one force working against her, once again. "To the castle?" A happy grunt filled the silence that they were surrounded in. "The castle it is, ready?" With no intend to wait for yet another reaction, Y/N used once again her powers to create another portal, to what she called 'her summer palace'.

Within a few seconds they arrived at the bridge, in an unpleasant snow storm. They crossed the bridge, went through the gate, while Y/N rolled her eyes the sight of the watchman who took a nap.

She pushed the gates open, making the heads turns from the other vampires who were happily feasting. It was silent, the chatter than once was, was gone. All either staring at Y/N or bowing their heads.

She whistled, Garmr following her in pride, while CuSith joined her as well. A vampire with a death hound just had respect dripping off of them. And in this case, Y/N was the one who screamed to be prayed unto.

Chin up and head high she paced forward, towards what once where the chambers of Harkon. "Y/N?" Serena questioned, not believing Y/N was already back in such short notice. "What are you doing here?"

"I need to change and I need to get to Riften." Y/N answered cooly. Even if this was her friend, she didn't have time to catch on. She had a mission, and only little time left to complete it. "I have some of your clothes stocked in the chest over there." Serana spoke up, making Y/N thank her with a nod.

"So, what do you need in Riften?" Y/N pulled the tunic over her head, not being very fond of the outfit. But she was after all, royal under the league of vampires. "To be honest, none of your business."
