Weeks had passed quickly, and Y/N never felt happier on a school. Ada and her became closer than she could ever expected, feeling more and more confident to tell Ada her secret. She even became friends, or well friendlier with Draco Malfoy, the two of them decided to accept each other.
Another story is Y/N and Remus, after their last meeting in the rain, their walk in the middle of the night, they didn't see each other as much in private. On occasions after class when Y/n had a few minutes left, they talked. It seemed normal, talking about a grade, or the coming test or assignments. But in reality when other students were gone, they talked about other things. Like their weekend plans or what their favorite animals were. They were getting to know each other, without even realizing they did.
It was the first week of October, and Y/N felt that the full moon was getting closer and closer. Meaning that if her gut feelings were right about this one, then she officially needed to create distance between her and Lupin. Even when she didn't want to, but the letter from her aunt told her so.
She remembered it perfectly, the moment Garmr was back at Hogwarts, with the letter in his mouth, made it clear that it would be some straight up orders.
"What do you have here" Y/N sat on her bed, making her homework while Ada was off with Oliver. Y/N didn't need to question her, she was fine with it. She didn't want to get in the way of a potential love of hers. Garmr jumped on the bed, dropping the letter on her lap. Y/N closed her book, leaving the quill in the middle so she could continue instantly where she left it.
Taking the letter in her hands, she opened it rather fast, ripping the side of the paper to get it out faster. She smiled when she read Eoin her answers. On how she was happy that she got such nice friends and such a good start. But as the letter continued, Y/N her smile was fading. Reading that Eoin was in possible danger made her heart beat faster, but when she read that everything was now alright, thanks to Garmr.
"That's why it took you so long huh? Thanks buddy." She spoke lovingly towards her companion. She let a breath go that she didn't even notice that she was holding. Dropping the parchment on her lap, repeating the words slightly, "If you think it is what you expect, stay away from him. You know what happened last time with Vilkas."
"But it is not the same, right Garmr?" She tried to have approval of what she was doing, but Garmr only blinked, it seemed that her dog didn't even know the right answer on that one.
Y/N and Ada sat in the classroom, chatting about Ada her soon to be boyfriend. "You are head over heels, I'm so happy for you!" Y/N smiled at Ada, "I need to thank you, I mean I have left you alone a few times just because I needed my-"
"Don't thank me, and don't apologize. You and Oliver are hitting it off. I won't get in the way, if this is my part in helping you both, then I am happy that I have done that. And besides that, it gave me some silent evenings." Y/N spoke out, reassuring her friend it was alright.
"You really are the best. Now, how is your love life going?" Ada propped her elbows on the desk, leaning her head on her folded hands. "I am sure no one is interested in me that way, Ada." And that, was once again a lie from Y/N.
"Oh there is, but you don't want him." Ada wiggled her eyebrows, hinting at the younger Hufflepuff kid. "Please leave it Ada, the boy is literally hitting my nerves." Y/N rolled her eyes, thinking about her latest gift from him.
"What do you mean?" Ada inquired, pushing her to tell her everything. "While you were getting in later with Oliver, I was talking with Draco. The kid just came to the Slytherin table, in a full room for lunch, to give me flowers." Y/N grimaced at the thought. "Wait you and Draco were talking? Like in a civil conversation?" Y/N let out a laugh.
