Chapter 12: Secrets to keep

Y/N stood there, in shock to say the least. Taking a good moment before Remus parted them. He looked scared, feeling like he overstepped something. That he took the signs wrong, he removed himself completely from her.

He didn't find the words, he only felt shame creeping inside him. Looking in her direction, but not in her eyes. His focus was placed somewhere behind her. "I'm so sorry-"

Remus was taken off guard at the sudden response of Y/N. Not being able to complete his apology, Y/N already had closed the distance. Her hands caught his cheek and the behind of his neck, pulling him into her again. She forgot for a moment what she was doing, and she let her heart speak. For once she made a careless and subconscious decision.

She moved her hands happily to the back of his head, tangling her fingers into his hair. She gripped it tighter, pulling him with her till her back hit a pillar from the balcony. It kept her safe from falling, but at the same time exciting her. The thrill to kiss her professor at such a dangerous hight and position made it all too much better for her.

Lupin finally had the courage to move his hands. Fingers tracing the curves of her body, gripping at her hips to finally pull her flush against him. There was no way to get any closer than they already were. Y/N decided to tease him a bit, the moment his hands left her hips to wander further towards her ass, he licked her lips. Only she denied it, making him obliged to squeeze her ass.

Not that she minded his rough demeanor. It brought out a small gasp from her, smirking against his lips as his teeth took her lower lip, tugging at it. For a moment no words needed to be spoken, the eye contact that they had was enough. The hunger was displayed in both, something they carried for a few weeks now.

But Y/N was the one to pull him in once again, making Lupin shudder a bit. Pressing all his weight into her body, so she was forced to lean against the pillar. He was craving her, and wanted nothing more than to just devour her.

Mouths crashed together, hearts were beating fast, almost being combined to one as Remus moved on of his hands over her side, all the way up to cup one of her breasts. Y/N moaned when Lupin left her mouth to nip at her neck. Occasionally leaving a sloppy kiss here and there. A groan left her lips when he bit down on the exposed flesh of her cleavage.

Her head tilted back once he took her legs, signaling her to jump so she would wrap her legs around him. She whimpered once she felt his hardened bulge grind into her core.

But before Remus continued, Y/N felt the presence of Gramr appear. She shook herself awake, placing one of her legs back on the ground. It made Remus stop his actions, helping her down safely. His brows raised in confusion, "Did I do something wrong-"

"I, I should go." Y/N moved herself away from him. He was mostly confused, but the hurt followed soon after. "But-" Remus tried, after what just happened he couldn't find a logical reason for departing.

"It can't be how we want Remus. This is for the best." She started as she stood next to her familiar. She tilted her head, slightly looking over her shoulder to look at him. "For the both of us." She finalized as she started moving.

But Remus didn't let go so easily. He tried weeks on end to suppress himself from this. And now that he finally had the guts to do this, he wouldn't let it slip. He went after her, "Y/N-" he called after her, but was soon cut off by the wolfish-dog growling at him. Teeth were showing and just in time before his eyes would glow, Y/N called out for him.

"Garmr, come on boy. He- He isn't worth it." Even if it hurts her to say these words. It felt like that this would be the only way to assure her as well as his safety. She knew that soon enough she would need to explain everything to Remus. But she wasn't ready, not yet. Eoin did send her here with the attention for her to keep her secret.
