She sat on her throne, dangling her legs as her back rested on the other armrest. A sigh escaped her lips as she closed her eyes for a minute. Her hair hanging back and her hand resting under her head.
"Y/N?" The tremble in his voice was heard and Y/N opened one of her eyes, still keeping her relaxed position. "What?" She questioned back, wiping her mouth to hide the last blood stains from her dinner not hours ago.
"It has been more than a few days, you never reported back." Y/N sighed and moved her body to sit straight again. Her arm resting on her thighs, while the other was high in the air signing her clan to stay at rest.
"Why would I? I did what you asked, got rid of him and brought some of the bodies here. I didn't know that it wasn't allowed by you? Therefore, I don't need permission remember?" Y/N raised from the chair, walking down the little steps that were in front of her.
"It would have been nice to know that the problem was taken care of." She stopped in her tracks, lifting her head slightly higher than the man who was in front of her. "Did you see any Silver hands move past you?" When there was no reply, Y/N huffed.
"Thought so indeed."
"Kodlak is dead." Y/N sucked the inside of her cheek, not wanting to sound rude, but it came out either way. "Look at my face, Farkas." She started, "Does it look like I care?" A chuckle erupted the silence, Y/N sure was a changed woman after the power she was given.
The longer she was in Tamriel, the more she started to look like the rest of her family. Her family was well known, warrior mages, respected but oh so feared. Mostly due to what happened to most of them.
Her parents were not the most successful, that title was claimed by her grandparents. Nieces and nephews were known to be Daedric worshippers, giving them unlimited power. That was where her parents were less mighty for.
They were more respected because they chose to pray for the Aedra. In broad daylight at least. It was a hidden fact that they worshipped worse than the Daedra. Making them a victim of their own power.
That, that right there is what Y/N wanted to prevent. She saw her own parents turn more and more evil and obsessed by something they could never get. That is where Y/N got her genes from. The one she feared to have as a child and without knowing, she accepted it.
Besides that, her family was this powerful for ages. Even in the great battle of Cyrodiil. If you had a L/N mage on your side, you could practically say that you had victory. But even now, the fact that Y/N was a nice girl in the beginning and has ended up with being the fiancé of a Daedric prince, made her claim the title of the most powerful and dangerous witch there was.
"You are unbelievable. Y- you have changed Y/N what happened to you?" Farkas broke his facade. Looking at his old friend with concern. "I have changed indeed." She started, taking a few steps more down as she whistled for CuSith to appear forward from the shadows the death hound was in.
"I just happen to accept it without even acknowledging." She scratched the dog his head, "It was Fate, my dear Farkas."
"Fate? What has this to do with fate? If I recall correctly, you wanted nothing more than to turn out better than your parents." Y/N let out a laugh. "Fate has a way of playing games and I have been keeping score."
She turned around, back facing the companion as she signaled a few other vampires to give him the bag. "What is this?" The red stains underneath the brown bag already gave away it had something to do with blood, but he wanted to be sure.
"Take a look."
"What in the-"
"The head you requested and maybe also the heart. Thought you wolves liked to eat them as a snack. I have seen Vilkas do it multiple times. Poor me actually, I never had the choice to drain the bandits but I have plenty of time now." Looking over her shoulder, she snickered as she saw the disgusted face of Farkas.
