Chapter 10: Daylight

Lisa and Jennie left the hotel room at around 5 in the afternoon. Though exhausted from the long night behind them, they both could not help but smile and giggle while holding hands inside the elevator. From the floor where Lisa's room is located down to the ground floor, where Lisa parked her car, it took them minutes before they got off the elevator. It was a good thing that nobody used the same lift they used. Lisa and Jennie had their alone time. They even stole kisses from each other as if nothing could separate them. They hugged as if there was no CCTV on the lift.

Jennie: Hon, they can see us. Look! *points at the camera*

Lisa: It's okay. I do not care. I am proud that you are my girlfriend. *winks at Jennie*

Jennie: Girlfriend....? *surprised*

Lisa: Yes. If you are not my girlfriend, then what are we? *pouts and loosens her hug*

Jennie: Ugh! Can't you make it any more romantic? Hahaha! *pats Lisa's arms* Araseo! I am your girlfriend now. *lands a soft kiss on Lisa's lips when the lift opens.*

They walked hand in hand to where the car was parked. To Jennie's surprise, Lisa's car is a customized black Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. "Daebak! It's a jeep! This is yours?" Jennie looked amazed because the last time saw a car like this was years ago. "Yes, honey. It's mine. Everywhere I go, I bring it with me." Lisa answered while smiling. She finds Jennie cute with her reaction. "Seriously? I do not see this parked on the floor of Centerbiold." Jennie said. "It's because that building has a private parking area exclusive for lawyers and other folks. After you, honey." Lisa answered while opening the door for Jennie. She helped her get in the car because it was a bit high. "Your da..... "Lisa almost uttered what she was not supposed to reveal at the moment. "Your day must have been amazing because of me." Lisa continued teasing Jennie. She closed the door after and went to the driver's seat.

Lisa: Honey, I know you have many questions right now. Go ahead. I will answer them. *she starts the engine and slowly moves the car*

Jennie: Mhmm. Yeah. A lot? How about I start with this..." *points at the black jacket that Lisa gave her. Everything that she is wearing right now is from Lisa. "This emblem right here looks familiar. I can't remember when or where I saw it." *she said while encoding her address on the geo-locator attached to the car.*

Lisa: That is the Korean Intelligence Agency symbol, but for the elite officers only. *she replied without looking at Jennie. She's torn between revealing things now or not.*

Jennie: KIA? Are you serious? Are you a member? What about those briefcases? They have the same symbol. What's inside those? *she faces Lisa without minding the good scenery outside.*

Lisa: Those briefcases are guns. How many did you see? *still not looking at Jennie*

Jennie: Only two, but I saw a gun under your sink. Why is it there? What is happening, honey? *sounds worried; she holds Lisa's arm.*

Lisa: *glances at Jennie, finally* It is a very long story, honey. In the coming days, I will tell you more, okay? Yes, I am an elite member of KIA. I did not tell you that when we were on the plane. It's something I rarely tell people. I chose to be a lawyer more than an elite officer. Something just happened months ago, almost a year. I was assigned to do this task. *sighed at the thought that Jennie might be in danger because of her*
