WORLD AI ASSOCIATION ARENA ENTRANCE - LATE AT NIGHT

Hidetoshi: Umm, is this a good idea?

Kakuei: Trust me. The night guard's asleep, he'll never notice.

Kakuei, Hidetoshi and Wakumi slipped past the sleeping night guard.

Jin: Then again, the ASC DOES have officials.

Kakuei: They're busy fixing the dome.

The three ran past the dome, which was being fixed by ASC officials.

ASC Official: Hey Jeff, did you hear that?

Jeff: Ah, must have been the wind.

ASC Official: It wasn't the wind. I heard footsteps. Is it a lycanthrope?!

Jeff: Calm down Paul, lycanthropes ain't real. They're just fiction.

Paul: Yeah, you're right.

The three kids walked over to the testing track, which was oval shaped and had three obstacles. (Yes I've only decided to describe it now.)

Hidetoshi: Why are you training at two AM?

Kakuei: Well, my thought was that if I trained early, I'd have an advantage.

Hidetoshi: Stupid idea, really. Plus, why do you have to train? This AI racing thing seems so easy.

Kakuei: Quiet you.

Kakuei placed the Rokuyon onto the track, pressed the start button on his controller, and watched the Rokuyon race!

Kakuei: Alright!

Hidetoshi: People can be intrigued by the simplest of things.

As the Rokuyon dodged the obstacles, Kakuei started to fall asleep.

Hidetoshi: Umm, Kakuei-kun?

Kakuei: GAH! Almost dozed off again. Nothing a little eel soda and crab sandwich won't fix!

Kakuei reached into his duffel bag and pulled out two slices of bread, three crab legs, and a bottle of eel soda. He put the crab legs between the bread,  then proceeded to pour the eel soda on the sandwich.

Wakumi: Ew.

After Kakuei took a bite, he picked up his controller and pressed the middle button... except the Rokuyon was no longer on the track.

Kakuei: Eh?

Kakuei then caught the Rokuyon in his eyesights, the car had apparently hit the barrier and flew off the track. To make matters worse, it was driving right for a stack of cans that was there for some reason.

Kakuei: Stop!

Kakuei chased after the Rokuyon, but he was too late: the car bumped into the stack of cans, causing them to fall over and make a lot of noise, waking the night guard up!

Night guard: Huh? Whazzah-

The guard then realized the noise was coming from the training room, and ran over to the room as fast as he could!

Night guard: Lousy, good for nothing, rascals...

Wakumi: Now look what you've gotten us into.

Kakuei: Relax, we won't get caught. I'm a master of thinking up hiding places.

The night guard got to the room and opened the door, spotting three conspicuously shaped items. He walked over to a lamp that looked like a blue-shirted kid with a lampshade on his head, then turned on the light.
