Contrary to narutos wishes he hadn't been able to spend time with Hinata in almost a month. After a day of rest, everyone was put to work. The Hero did seek out his new female interest but she politely let him know that she had clan duties to attend. He had her promise to seek him out when she finished. However not even two hours later Kakashi was assigning missions. So weather it was due to clan duties or missions a month had gone by without much contact.

"Something the matter? You've been oddly quite. My books say a change in character such as this could mean you have alot on your mind." Sia the skilled full painter but emotional handicapped teammate asked.

Naruto was looking at the ground, for once Sias books were on point. He couldn't stop thinking about Hinata, the warmth he feels around her the emotions her felt from her durning the war. Why couldn't he let the feeling go he couldn't even put a name to it.

"I'm fine."

"Hmm. I've also read 'I'm fine' doesn't always mean 'I'm fine' however it was talking about women not men." Sia looked to the sky as though he was trying to recall more from the book.

The blonde casted a sour look to his teammate, "does your books say anything about shutting the hell up!"

Unfazed by these words sia smiled, " not yet but maybe it will."

"Was that humor?" Their pink haired friend finally chimed in, "I don't think I've ever heard sia tell a joke!"

Sia looked at both teammates who were now laughing. He was being serious so he didn't understand the "Joke" he told, but he figured he'd leave it alone.

Sakura cleared her throat, "okay okay, let's be serious guys we have a mission. Whatever is on your mind naruto just forget about it for now!"

'Bossy as ever' the blonde thought to himself, he knew better than to ever say that out loud. She was right though they were on a mission, however since the end of the war all missions had been fairly boring. It was either clear this area, or go collect these supplies, even worse being one armed Naruto was usually left to just watch though he always tried his best to help where he could. This mission was different though.

"Why are we escorting this girl again? There isn't much threat is there?" Naruto asked.

"You idiot did you listen when Kakashi explained the mission!"

"Uhh"

"She's not just any girl, this is the daimyō grand daughter. While we are at peace, the war left many without a village. Meaning they have no money to rebuild so kidnapping someone as important as she is could earn them a huge ransom. Besides you were specifically requested to be on this mission." His female teammate informed him while rolling her eyes on the last part.

"Definitely the down side of being 'the hero' everyone is always requesting me to be on the mission even for the dumbest of things!" He pouted, he really did like the attention and trust he had earn however being sent on simple mission that ultimately he couldn't even help with due to his condition was getting old.

"Oh just shut up already!" The pink hair shinobi yelled holding up her fist. Ever since returning from war she had an extra short temper with Naruto, not sure why this was however he knew better than to poke the bear his head injuries finally got through to him.

After arriving to there destination and talking to the daimyō, which Naruto couldn't get away from quick enough the old man spoke slowly and in circles. The old man was also so full of himself Naruto still needed to learn more about politics he really didn't understand this man's roll or what he really did other than wear fancy robes and make the hokages life harder.
