Hinata looked in the mirror, the green color seal was looking back at her. She frowned, while she better than anyone knew the importance of putting this seal on everyone she hated seeing it. She rummaged around her drawer and grabbed some scissors giving her self some bangs.
Hinabi entered the room. "The bangs look good."
"Thanks. Never thought we would start using this seal again, part of me feels like we let neji down." Hinata was fighting back tears.
"We have big reasons to use the seal. Beside we will never use them to control others, I'm the only one authorized to do so and I swear I won't!"
Hinata smiled at her sister. She was only 15 and was given the heavy burned of being the leader since father was gone. "You're doing great." Hinata said softly as she pulled her sister in for a hug.
"Yeah. Just until dad gets back." Hanabi said smiling back at her sister.
Hinata just looked down at her feet she wished she share her sister's optimism, but something in her gut told her he wasn't coming back.
A light knock on the door turned the sister's attention. Naruto slowly opened the door and walked in.
"Ohhh! And what have you two been up to?" Hanabi smirked knowing she'd get a reaction from his sister.
"W-what? What are you talking about?" Hinata tried her best to play it cool.
Hanabi laughed both Naruto and Hinata were blushing and looking away. "Try harder to hide it next time, I could tell right away." Proud with her self Hanabi exited the room.
'Something feels off.'
Naruto immediately activated his kyubi mood ready for anything and to sense what ever Kurama was talking about.
Hinata flinched as Naruto's body was engulfed in fire like chakra. The blonde stepped close to her spreading his chakra to her.
"What's wrong?" She questioned.
"Kurama said something felt off. I'm trying to see if I can sense it." He closed his eyes trying to feel around.
'I'm not feeling it anymore but for a brief second there was.. something." Kurama said as he laid his head bs k down.
'Something? Care to elaborate?' Naruto was doing his best to not sound annoyed but sometimes this fox would be so cryptic.
'Yes something!' He roared back not lifting his head. 'I don't know not necessarily a presence but a feeling. Like being watched? Or just energy. I don't know you said to notify you of anything.' The fox said but Naruto did miss the hint of worried in his words.
Naruto deactivated his chakra not wanting to worry his girlfriend anymore than he already had.
"False alarm." He smiled.

~in a cave far away~
"So what's going on?" The first male asked rather inpatient.
"Not to worry they're doing as I planned. The orb is placed in the girl."
The bigger guy slammed his fist to the table. "What's the point Toneri! They know how to remove them. Beside you were almost caught already."
"Yes you're not wrong however I have learned something's. For one I can only use the orb when the host is sleeping when they are at there weakest so that they don't resist. Second I must avoid the boy."
"How is that going to work?"
"Patience! For now I will work like this until I can strengthen my powers. Soon I will have the byakugan." Toneri said turning away from the other two men he really hated being questioned, but he knew better than to answer back to those above him.
