After cleaning him self up, the young blonde packed his duffel bag of personal items and took down his tent. Throwing the strap over his head so that the bag was on his side. He made his way to the hokages office where he would receive his key.
*knock knock*
Naruto waited for kakashi to tell him to enter. Behind two pillars of papers was a tired looking Kakashi.
"Naruto, good morning. Here for your key?"
"Yo Sensi, yeah exactly."
"Hokage-sama." Shikamaru corrected Naruto. He was off to the side also sorting through some paper.
"Right."Naruto chuckled. "What's with all this paperwork?"
"Well, a few things for one for some reason it's my job to give out apartments to the Shinobi, two I'm reconfiguring teams, mission are going to be picking up soon and I just want to be ready for them." Kakashi turned to look out the window.
"New teams huh?" Naruto couldn't help but wonder who would be his new team leader.
"Congratulations by the way." The hokage turned to look at the blonde. "I heard about your meeting with lord Haishi. Very bold going in without someone representing you, and playing the hero card."
Naruto rubbed the back of his neck, "it's funny but I actually think she's my soul mate, there's just something there."
"That's excellent. Mia was definitely not happy to be turned down she came to my office to see if I could change your mind."
The hero had completely forgotten about her. "She told me I would regret it. Is there truly much she can do?"
"Well she knows a lot of higher up people and could politically make things hard for you once you're hokage, but they make things hard for everyone so I don't think it would be much different." Kakashi looked over to Shikamaru who was also nodding his head in agreement.
"Anyways here's your key." Shikamaru tossed the keys over. "And here's your paper work for the place it also has your room number."
"Awesome, thanks! I better get going." The cheerful blonde turned and exited the room, and made his way to the Hyugan compound.
He let Ko know he was there for Hinata, and was told to wait a minute she would be right out. While waiting he turned to look the direction of where his apartment is. He could just barely see the top of the building.
"Good morning Naruto."
Her voice sounded like angles singing. He turned around and was stunned at her beauty, she was wearing a summer dress that kissed her curves in the best of ways. The V-neck wasn't to low but did show him some cleavage, while the waist was tight to body then loose on her hips. The color was black causing her light eyes to pop out that much more. Her hair was pulled back in a messy braid. She look stunning, definitely a huge change from her mission gear, which was always baggy.
Unable to speak Naruto hugged her placing a kiss on the top of her head. When he stepped back the usual dusting of pink was on her face. "You look amazing Hinata."
Nervous habit kicking back in, she bumped her two fingers together. "It's not to much? Hinabi insisted on dressing me today."
"No definitely not to much." He did another once over look at her, making a mental note to let hinabi know how good she was at dressing her sister.
"Well let's head to your apartment." Pushing her self to be more bold she took his hand as the pair began walking.
For some time the walked in comfortable silence. Watching as the town came alive, shops opening up and preparing for the day.
