'Don't cry idiot!' Hinata yelled at self. She couldn't believe the fool she was making of her self. Maybe she shouldn't have left, she could have just explained to him that she didnt expect him to say it or feel it yet. However the dreamer in her had hoped that the first time she told him would have been a little more special. Not to mention when she got home she could only hope her father would be in a good mood.
She turned the corner almost home!
"Hinata-Sama, I was hoping I would run into you."
Hinata looked over, it was the man who tried to appeal to her father to change his mind on her hand. What was his name? She couldn't remember but she recognized his face. She was Pail but this guy was white as paper. White hair that had a hint of blue. Intense eyes that almost looked evil.
"Oh, hello I'm sorry I can't stay to talk." She tried to hurry pass him not wanting to talk.
However he wasn't going to give up, he grabbed her wrist a bit tighter than he needed to. "Come now, I traveled all this way for a third time surely you could just give me a minute of your time?" He pulled her in a bit closer.
Shocked at his boldness she didn't say anything.
"Hinata I can make you happy I can give you anything you want." He said as he continued to pull her closer.
"No, no you couldn't make me happy. I've already found my happiness." She said as loud as could, trying to will her self to not sound scared.
He pulled her wrist to his chest and put a arm behind her back, in an attempt to pull her into a hug.
"Trust me I could-"
"Let her go." Naruto growled. His eyes glowing red, and ready to kick some ass.
"This doesn't concern you sir."
Naruto moved closer to the mystery man. Ready to tear his head off. "That's my women you have your hand on. I'll say it one more time, let go of her."
Released from his grasp Hinata stepped back rubbing her wrist. Naruto moved to her side, gently holding her wrist. "Are you okay Hinata."
"Yes." She whispered, still shocked over the whole situation.
Naruto turned his intense gazed to the other man. "What the fuck do you want with her?"
"I'm Toneri, I was hoping to talk to Hinata-sama."Toneri smiled.
Naruto protectively stepped in front of Hinata. "Shes done talking to you."
"Hmm. Well Hinata if you change your mind, aren't happy with this guy. Come find me." Toneri gave a smile, turned around and walked away.
Naruto turned around to his princess, softening his eyes. "Are you really okay?" Naruto asked looking at her wrist again.
"Yes, thank you for your concern." She said avoiding looking up at him, still embarrassed about earlier.
"Hinata," Naruto put a finger under her chin tilting her head up. He noticed a glimmer of a tear at the corner of her eye. It felt worst than taking a punch to the gut from Sakura.
"Hinata!" The two turned only to see her father standing there. "Get over here now, curfew was a couple hours ago." His face was filled with rage.
"Sir, please it's my fault." Naruto said trying to make things better for her.
Haishi said nothing but raise his hand signaling he didn't want to hear anything else.
Knowing it's better to listen than argue when her father was angry she stepped away from her love and walked into the compound. Her father turned to follow her inside.
Naruto stood there, taking everything in him to not run after her. There was so much he needed to say, but he figured at this point he might just make things worse.
"Damn it." He punched at air, wishing it was Toneri's face.
Naruto laid in bed watching the moon from his bed. He was praying to any and all gods out there that Hinata wasn't in to much trouble. Today had started as a great day but took a turn to quickly.
"Toneri, was a jerk. He better never touch her again." Naruto said to his dark room. If he wasn't distracted with making sure she was okay, he would have knocked the daylights out of him.
