Once rested the ninjas sent the men on there way to go home so that they could continue there mission. They reached there first stop and as Kakashi had said the village was struggling.
After speaking to many villagers they all said the same thing, men from neighboring villages came and attacked and after that many of there villagers went missing. They weren't sure if they died in battle of were kidnapped.
"I'm so sorry to hear that. We are here to help in any way we can." Hinata said as she held the hand of a mother who had just told them the same tale. The women had 4 kids all under the age of 6 they were living in a tent and struggling.
"Well let's get to work!" Naruto exclaimed as he summoned hundreds of clones.
With in the first day they were able to cut and prep hundreds of logs the first step to be able to build there homes. Sakura had set up a tent to treat any wounded villagers.
The children of the village has taken a liking to Hinata and followed her around, after Naruto and his clone cut down a tree she and the kids would go and cut off the bark.
Sai was scouting, riding his bird in the air. Make sure no one was coming to attack as well as to see if he saw any sign of the missing villagers.
The rest of the villagers were busy harvesting there crops and preparing other soil to plant more crops.
After a long day of work Naruto had built a fire and everyone relaxed. While Naruto hoped to sit near his girl he couldn't help but smile wide at the circle of children all around her. Especially the littlest of the group Kiera. She was 8 months old, her mother said she didn't let anyone hold her but mama, but Kiera instantly took a liking to Hinata. She sat in Hinatas lap playing with her long black stands of hair. Hinata was singing nursery rhymes to the children. The whole seen made the blonde feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
"Glad that's not me." Sakura chuckled. "After long days work last thing I want is a bunch of kids touching me and needing to be entertained."
Naruto looked over to his pink haired friend. " I think it's pretty sweet, they seem to find comfort in Hinata." He couldn't stop the large smile spreading across his face.
The hero stood up and made his way over to the long haired beauty, the children reluctantly made a spot for him next to her. He put his arm around her as she continued to sing. Kiera looked over to blonde, at first she gave him stank eye but after he made a funny face to her she decided he was fine. Leaving the warmth of Hinatas lap and crawled over to sit in his.
Naruto had realized this was first time he had held a baby. Hinata looked over to Kiera and then up into the eyes of her love. His eyes a beautiful shiny blue, she smiled at him as he pulled her in even closer placing a kiss on top of her head.
"Alright children it's time for bed." One of the mothers said as approached them.
"No! We want to stay here and sleep." Some of the children protested.
"These ninjas need to get there rest they worked hard today." She mother tried to reason with them.
"I don't mind if they want to sleep out here with us ma'am." Hinata said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah! They're totally fine." Naruto chimed in.
The mothers thanked them before returning to there tents to sleep Sia out of the fire. Hinata sitting up most of the children had settled down ready to sleep Kiera laid next to Hinata while Naruto's head was in her lap. She sang one last goodnight lullaby as she lightly played with her boyfriends hair.
Naruto felt in heaven, more relaxed than ever. He'd never had a mother to sing him to sleep and Hinatas voice was so gentle so comforting. He'd also never had someone playing with his hair but he liked it! He could stay in this moment forever he thought to him self as he drifted off to sleep.
Hinata laid back ready her self to drift off.
'Finally she stopped.' Sakura thought to her self. Maybe Sia was right or rather Ino was. 'No I'm not jealous! She's just annoying!' Sakura reassured herself.

The next morning everyone woke up bright and early. The villagers had made breakfast for everyone before they got to work.
Again Naruto summoned many clones, this time to start putting together homes now that the wood was ready.
Sakura continued to treat anyone who needed it.
Sai this time was helping Naruto.
Hinata and the children were building a fence to keep the chickens contained. Kiera was tied onto Hinatas back happy as can be cooing and clapping.
The villager continued to work on there crops.
By the end of day two so much progress had been made the frame to all the houses had been made. The chickens were now contained. All the crops were harvest and all injuries were were attended to. After eating every one sat around the fire again relaxing Naruto laid in his stomach while Hinata leaned on his lower back scratching his back and sing lullaby's for the children again. Once again Naruto was on cloud nine.
Sakura was streaming just hearing her voice and seeing the joy on Naruto's face was making her blood boil.

Day three. Today everyone was working hard Naruto and his clone were putting the roof on all the house while everyone else worked hard to get the wood floors put in. And walls inside up.Once again after a long days work everyone gathered around the fire.
"Does this mean you'll be off tomorrow?" One of the villagers asked the ninjas.
"I'm afraid so. We have a few other villages that are in the same condition you were in and need our help." Sai told them.
"We can't thank you enough what you've done in three days would have taken us months to do."
"We're happy to help." Naruto said smiling and giving his trademark thumbs up.
Hinata sat up rubbing her shoulders. She had worn Kiera on her back for most of the day again.
"You ok Hinata." Naruto asked.
"Oh yes just a little sore." She smiled up to him. Naruto positioned himself behind her inbetween his legs. He didn't really know what he was doing but he pressed his thumbs into her shoulders hoping he was helping her soreness.
Hinata melted into his touch. His strong hands really doing work to her sore muscles, to mention to warmth raiding from his body. This time Hinata was on cloud nine.
"Ehh we're all sore but you don't see us complaining." Sakura pouted.
"Actually you've been complaining all day." Sai said once again smiling at her.
"Shut the hell up Sai."
