Kayla quickly grabbed her phone and typed the name Juliana Smith into Google. At least 15 historical documents came up about Juliana and her family who have lived for over 1000 years as vampires and have never been caught. Well until today.
"No way this can't be real." Kayla told her self still in complete shock. "Why did she never say anything?" Kayla didn't understand why Juliana would hide something this big.
Kayla was about to text Juliana and confront her when she decided to out her phone back down. She rubbed her head confused and angry. She ended up turning off the TV and laying on her bed with just her thoughts.
After a while she lost track of time and fell asleep.
The next day
When Kayla woke up all she heard was the notification sound on her phone going off rapidly.

Kayla rushed to the melting pot and saw Micha standing outside of the restaurant waiting.
Kayla ran up to Micah *being her clingy self* and said "I've missed you!"
"Bro it's only been 3 days." Micha laughed
"Whatever." Kayla said while lightly punching Micah in the arm
"So why did you ask me-" Micah was about to finish his sentence but Kayla covered his mouth to shut him up.
"Wbhut tbhe?" Michas voice was muffled
Kayla held her finger up to her own lips to represent that Micah needs to shut up and then pointed behind her.
Juliana was walking down the sidewalk
Michas eyes widened and was about to scream but Kayla made sure he didn't
"That's my science partner." Kayla shrugged "Ms Juliana the vampire."
Kayla removed her hand from Michas face to see he was still in shock.
"Don't say anything I'll handle it. Here she comes" Kayla waved at Juliana
Juliana looked up from her phone and smiled while waving at Kayla.
"Hey Kayla wh-"
"Nope don't wanna here it come here"
Kayla cut her off and pulled her by the hand to Micha.
"Juliana this is Micha, Micha this is Juliana" Kayla said while forcefully smiling
"Hi" Micha said still in shock
"Hi?" Juliana said back awkwardly
"Anway Juliana can I talk to you for a sec?" Kayla looked towards Juliana
"Yea abou-?" Once again Kayla cut her off
Kayla brought Juliana to a corner near the restaurant.
"Were you even gonna tell me?" Kayla crossed her arms while waiting for an answer
"Was I going to tell you what?" Juliana asked confused
"Oh idk that your a frickin vampire?" Kayla shrugged annoyed
Juliana shot back "frick" she mumbled
"So is that a no? Kayla I wasn't going to tell you that I'm a vampire and my entire family are vampires throughout my family history." Kayla said in a mocking tone of Juliana
"Kayla look I'm really sorry ok. It's a long story." Juliana rubbed her forehead
"Juliana seriously?" Kayla stepped forward to her and staring at her seriously "tell me." she said firmly
Juliana took a deep breath "if I tell you, do you promise not to tell anyone?"
"Ok sure but can I tell Micha?" Kayla said quickly
"Fine you can tell Micha but no one else got it?"
Kayla nodded her head
"I wanna be normal" Juliana sighed
Kayla raised an eyebrow
"Not like 'normal' but like live how other kids my age live. Go to public schools and not be bombarded by people trying to kill me because I'm a vampire so they think I'm going to bite them or something. And to actually have parents that actually care." Juliana relaxed and looked at Kayla who was giving her a sympathetic look
"So you didn't want to tell me because you just wanted to live normally without having me try to kill you?" Kayla tilted her head
"Yea, sorry I've been having REALLY bad luck in life lately." Juliana looked at the ground
"Don't worry I'll treat you like your 'normal' Micha on the other hand-" Kayla turned to look at Micha who was still currently in a state of shock "will probably be a little freaked out at first but he'll get over it." Kayla laughed
"You promise?" Juliana asked
"I promise." Kayla smiled at Juliana
Kayla felt something between them spark but she ignored it. They looked at eachother and laughed.
Juliana looked at Kayla and asked "so are we still science partners?"
Kayla looked at her and said "sure why not."
Juliana awkwardly nodded her head and walked with Kayla towards Micha
They told Micha they were going inside and they walked into the restaurant and sat down.
"Shall we continue our science project KayKay?" Juliana looked over at Kayla
"Let's get that A Juli" Kayla smiled
