Falling for you?

The General has been stalking me. A basic forest wanderer.
I mean I've met him before but only on certain occasions.
I was so shocked.
I felt a pain in my nose.
"OW" I shrieked as he flicked my nose again. "You keep phasing out Nari are you okay?"
He asked looking at me with narrow curious eyes.

He's way to close to me.
Backing away I said
"N-no I'm fine. General why were you following me around".
I hunched into the wall as he spoke calmly, "Nothing in particular, working as a general can be rather lonely, I just found you intriguing".
Intriguing? What was that supposed to mean. He sat on the bed next to me and sighed. Staring deep into my eyes and smiling warmly. I hoped to the archons he couldn't see the flush that started spreading from my neck up.
He chucked and I felt my heart skip a beat.

"Your so cute when you blush" he laughed.

I coughed and hid myself in my pillow.
"Wanna take a walk with me?" he asked.
I lifted my head and looked up at him as he extended his gloved hand.
I swear he looked like an angel from heaven at that moment.
I shook my head and reached out to carefully take his hand.
Our hands touched and I clasped our hands together.
His hands were soft and warm which was surprising yet pleasing.
I rubbed my finger gently over his hand.
"Earth to Nari-" he spoke interrupting my thoughts.
I flushed and stood up as we walked out of my house.
Our feet gently stepped along the moss covered paths of the forest.
"Don't you have work?" I asked with curiosity. He seemed to want to spend time with me but didn't he have a lot of work to do?
"Hm No" he replied
and continued with the same straight face. Silence was upon us as we walked.
Nothing but the sounds of birds and the water running in the stream.
He stopped suddenly launching me forward slightly. "General?" I asked.
He sighed "Just call me Cyno" he faced me.
I nodded calmly and looked back at him.
The wind blew through his hair and his eyes were both exposed like crimson rubies dancing in the sun. 
He rubbed my hand softly and reached for my other one.
He lifted my hand and placed a small kiss on-top of my hand.
A wave of warmth rushed thought me as his soft lips touched my hand.
Idd never felt like this before, my heart was racing a million per minute.
His hair flipped over his eyes softly and he watched me narrowing his eyes.
My ears wiggled and my damn tail started wagging.
I felt so embarrassed it's never done that before unless idd discovered some new plant or something.
He giggled at me and placed my hand on his cheek closing his eyes and smiling softly.

Gosh what was this.
"Cyno! Stop it" I blushed wildly.
"Stop what?"
He opened one eye and spoke.
"S-stop making me feel funny!" I stammered and my tail kept wagging.
He wrapped both my hands around his shoulders and pulled me close into a warm hug.
Oh archons I felt like I wanted to ascend.
I felt his hands rub circles in my back as he dug his head into my shoulder.
He was so warm and surprisingly comfy.
He squeezed me a little tighter, my tail wagged faster and faster.
He chuckled and said
"your tail is gonna give you whiplash"
"S-shut up!" I yelled.
He laughed and pulled me a little closer.
Gosh I loved that sound.
I never would have thought he would be so affectionate nor that I would end up falling for him this way.
I felt my arms snake around his back unconsciously.
I held him close to me and it felt nice. Like something I was longing for in my life. Maybe I was just lonely?
Or maybe I just needed affection?
Although I never liked people hugging me before.
His hair was soft and he felt like a warm teddy bear.
I felt his hand lift from my back and land on my head.
He pulled my head into his chest and started patting my ears.
I flushed a deep shade of red as he gently patted my ears.
His chest was warm and he didn't smell like sand which was surprising.
The man lived in the sand.
He gently continued patting my ears and my tail started smacking my sides it was moving so fast.
"Your ears are so soft" he spoke calmly.
I shivered and pretended not to hear anything.
"Cyno.." I ask quietly.
"Hm I like it when you say my name.." he smiles.
"Why are you doing this?" He pauses and pulls away from me slightly.
He looks away slightly in thought and I watched his eyes dash quickly.
"Hm because your cute not sure just wanted to".
With that he pulled me back in again and kissed my cheek.
Wrapping his arms tighter around me and resting his face into my neck.
I was so flustered and I felt like I was melting. My tail once again was whipping my sides and my ears stood directly up.
I was so confused.
I didn't know what to think.
Why did I feel this why?
Why am I flushing and acting this way?
His soft hair and whenever he spoke against my neck it made me shiver.
It made me remember this book I read once about romance.
I never read romance books although Collei recommended it to me.
The book was about a couple that couldn't be together but made it work because they were in "love".
Holy. Archons.
It hit me like a brick.
I never thought of this before.
Maybe it was like in those books?
Love at first sight?
How can I know?
I felt his hand rub my back again.
My heart started racing again even faster as I reached my arms tighter around his back.
Now that I think about it every time I saw him visiting Collei I did feel my heart leap.
I dug my face deeper into his chest and sighed.
I love him.
