Maybe with you? (Cynonari)

(Tighnari POV)
I woke up to a horrible light blinding me.
Adjusting to my surroundings I realised I was in the clearing I was checking for poisonous mushrooms.
I sighed and decided to walk back home to see Cyno.
Maybe he had some food ready.
Gosh I was hungry.
After a short walk I came into the village I waved to some forest watchers and found my way to Cyno and I's home.
"Cyno I'm home!"
I happily yelled into the house as I swung the door open.
After hearing no response it worried me a little.
Gently moving around our house I searched for him.
Maybe he's asleep.
I walked into the bedroom to find the bed perfectly made and everything was in order.
Looking around I noticed some of Cynos clothes were missing as well as his toothbrush and a couple small items.
My heart started to race.
A loud bang erupted from the house and followed by a loud voice.
"TIGHNARI! CYNO IS FIGHTING ALHAITHAM OUTSIDE THE CITY!"
Her voice was panicked and rushed.
I dropped everything and left with her.
Time flew as we ran through the village and the hills.
After what seemed like forever we heard the sounds almost like canons being fired.
The dust began to clear slightly and I saw Cyno attacking Alhaitham, he was bleeding and kept getting thrown around like a doll.
Every-time he hit the ground he seemed to fly back up covered in bruises and blood.
Alhaitham looked like he had been electrocuted many times and was also rather bloody.
"STOP IT" I yelled as tears poured out of my eyes.
Cynos eyes met mine and they widened in shock.
Tears started pricking at his eyes.
He seemed to remember something before he turned back to Alhaitham and spoke.
"I'm sorry Nari. I know you love him."
His voice was so cold and broken that it shattered my heart.
"C-Cyno what on earth are you talking about-"
It hit me.
I had a tiny crush on Alhaitham at the academia I must have said something by accident.
"Y-You love him Nari. I don't want to be the second choice"
He raised his spear again and started covering himself in electro spiralling up into the sky.
The sky darkened and his eyes were purple instead of their warm crimson.
"CYNO STOP! YOU WERE ALWAYS MY FIRST CHOICE!"
I fell to my knees and cried.
He needed to be freed from this.
His hair was always floating by now and as every second pasted he engulfed himself in his magic.
"CYNO! LISTEN!"
I yelled and seemed to get his attention.
Taking a deep breath I spoke.
"C-Cyno back at school...

(Flashback)
Voices screamed around me as I tried to reach my book with every jump.
"Hahaha dumb little vermin"
"Look at the little rat jump"
My eyes were almost streaming with tears.
I flash blew past me and I looked up to see a small boy with white hair, the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen and tanned skin that reminded me of the desert.
He reached up and grabbed my book before shooting out the most impressive electro magic I've ever seen.
I was absolutely stunned as he spun around and stared into my eyes.
Almost like slow motion his hair flopping around his right eye and the sun seemed to shine directly over him.
Just like the cringy love moments in anime's or mangas.
I shook my head and asked him for my book back.
His head shook and he handed it to me.
I couldn't be there any longer because he made my heart want to jump out of my chest.
After that he seemed to find me everyday and find ways to talk to me.
He would always kiss my cheeks and touch me in places such as my shoulders, hands and ears.
For some reason it never bothered me but gave me butterflies.
Every-time he looked at me like he wanted to finally place his lips on mine I couldn't help but look away because it made my heart race.

(End Flashback)

"C-Cyno it's always been you-"
I used my dendro vision to elevate myself towards him.
A flower appeared under my feet, it lifted up through the air and up to where he was stunned mid air.
My shaky hands reached for his tear covered cheeks.
"Cyno.."
His eyes were still engulfed in electro but his face was riddled with emotions.
Tears wept from his eyes as his whole body shook.
I knew exactly what he needed.
Pulling his face a little closer to mine I leant forward and met his tear covered lips.
The whole electro field around him bursted and his eyes widened as he tumbled onto the flower with me.
He ended up on-top of me looking down at me.
I watched as his face just dropped and he fell into my chest crying.
Reaching my hand behind his ear I pulled his face up to mine and kissed him again.
He needed to calm down and this was the only way I knew how.
I gently kissed him, pulling away and returning to his lips a couple times until his heart beat had calmed.
Placing him back into my chest he did nothing but hug me and close his eyes.
Using my dendro magic I returned the flower to the path.
I spotted Alhaitham and spoke.
"I'm sorry about him. I must have told him something about my small crush I used to have on you."
He just smiled and replied.
"Well I do think your attractive and I would ta-"
I coughed and stopped him from talking.
"I don't like that like that anymore. My heart belongs to Cyno"
I spoke gently and began stroking his bleeding cheek.
"I need to get him back home so I'll be taking my leave. Go get yourself fixed up at the port"
I left without turning back for a word.
Cyno was heavy to carry but I had Collei's help.
With some struggles we managed to get him home safely where I could care for his wounds.
