Amani Allah you will leave this car Jamal said and I chuckled. Yes you guessed it I actually made him take me out. He is soo not on bored with this he seems soo annoyed and I can't help but laugh my ass off.
Amani he called and I looked at him yessssss I answered. We are just going to watch one movie and that it he said and parked inside cedi plaza in central area. Yes yes I agree I said. Alright then he said and hopped out for the car
He was dressed in a black trouser a white shirt with white sneakers. I'm dressed in a blue trouser with a brown hoodie with black sneakers and I wrapped a black vail around my head. He held my hand and we walked in believe me there were a lot and I mean A-LOT of stares
We got to genesis cinema and we paid to watch Thor: love and thunder. Damn I'm so excited. I saw him buying one large popcorn with two different drinks and I gave him a look. Don't worry we are sharing before you poke my eyes out he said and we heard the cashier chuckle.
We both looked at her. Oh I'm sorry it's just you two really make a cute couple she said. I was about to talk when Jamal put his arm around me with a smirk on his face. We do don't we he said and looked at me. Please get off me I said and walked into the cinema and I could hear them laughing.
I don't get it? Everywhere we go, we always get " oh your a really great couple" ( mimicking the cashier) I got seated at the back not all the way but back. He came and sat beside me with the popcorn between us. You don't like that do you he asked. Like what I asked acting clueless. You know what I'm talking about Amani.
If you don't like it then stop going on dates with me he said and stuffed his mouth with popcorn. This isn't a date I said and he looked at me for a while and looked back at the movie. Fine it's not a date he said with a smile on his face. I just turned to the movie and tried not to think about it.

After two hours, the movie finally ended. We always stay back to see the end end you know ..........marvel. I laid my head on his shoulder and what he said about we being on a date popped into my head. I took my head off and looked at him and there I met him smiling.
Why you smiling I asked. What I'm not allowed to smile again he said and stood up. He gestured his hand for me and I look at the hand and looked at him. Don't worry Amani it's not a date he said and I slipped my hand in his. We walked out hand in hand and headed to the parking lot.
Chill I....... I can't find my phone he said searching his pants. Check the cinema you probably left it there I said. Alright I'm coming he said and walked back to go get it. I started thinking about all the time we've been going out together.
It's either a restaurant, cinema, or Park. I thought of this and no wonder my dad and brothers think we are dating because we have been going on multiple dates.
He came back after a while. Found it he said with a toothy grain and we walked to his grey 2016 Mercedes CLA 45 AMG. He drove out and we hit the busy roads of Abuja. It was starting to get dark thank God I'm on my period. We got to my house and he parked in front of the gate.
Are you willing to get out of my car orrrr he said bringing me out of my thoughts. It WAS a date wasn't it I asked and looked at him. I found him looking at me and he faced his front with his hand on the wheel.
All this time Jamal it has always been a date I said with a smile and he looked at me. Of course it has been a date he said.
You seriously couldn't point it out to me I said and we both chuckled. Hey! I love the dates and I loved the fact that you didn't know even better he said. Why? I asked.
Damn it your gonna make me say it aren't you he said with smile. Yes Jamal just say it I said and he looked at me.
Because your my fave and I like seeing a smile on your face he said and your should have seen the reaction on my face. Jamal never compliments me it's always an insult.
Oh my God Jamal did you just compliment me I said with a huge smile. Don't let it get to your head he said and looked away. Aww Jamal I said smiling like a fool
Alright get the hell out of my car he said and unlocked the car. Come give Amani a hug I said. No please leave he said and I pouted. Your gonna leave me hanging? My arms are wide open I said with a smile.
Ya Allah see me through this your servant he said and enfolded me in a hug. Alright bye Jamal I said and hopped out if his car. He drove away and I got into the house.
I met dad in the sitting room with aunty Halima and my brothers. Good Amani your back dad said. I greeted aunty halima and you should see the smile she gave me just because dad is here. So fake I thought. I sat beside dad and I made a face to ya Faisal like what's going on and he mouthed no idea.
Halima where is Fanan dad asked trying not to get angry obviously. Shes.........she......... she started stammering. Assalamu Alaikum we heard and there was Fanan in a pencil trouser with a crop top with her hair obviously opened.
Is this how you went out dad asked with anger in his words. Fanan couldn't say a word she just stood there. SIT!! dad said and she immediately sat down beside aunty Halima.
To be honest I'm tired of this your behavior Fanan. Look at your sister, your younger sister you are supposed to be an example to her but it's the other way round dad said trying not the yell Pointing at me.
Look at how your dressed going out with men anyhow you don't even have a little bit of shame he said. You don't even have who you want to marry do you he asked. DO YOU! He yelled and believe me I flinched. No she said
Fine I'm getting you married he said and she looked up with tears in her eyes. Haba haba please don't do this to her aunty halima started but he shut her up.
Don't get me started with you Halima your children are here they wouldn't want to know what you have done over the years he said and she kept shut.
You may All leave he said and they all stood and left. All while during this conversation ya Faisal and ya Abba were trying so hard not to burst out laughing. Damn I have wicked siblings I thought
After everyone left, it was just me and dad in the sitting room. Dad I called and he looked at me. His eyes softened and he smiled. Was that necessary I said and he sighed. Of course if I don't our family name would get spoiled because of her.
Dad I started. If you keep talking I will see with you also. You know maybe I should I do have some in mind for you he said and my eyes widened. Ahh no dad thank you I said we we both bursted out laughing.
I love my dad. Apparently I'm the only one that knows how to put him in a good mood I mean just look at now. I sat there with dad and I told him everything about my day. I always do that I tell my dad everything and in return he tells me stories about my mum.
I bet you thought Jamal was gonna say he loves her right?😌
