I woke up with the urge to pee literally. I found my self in a hospital bed shirtless hmm that's weird I can't remember getting here.

A tube was connected to my hand and I really need to use the bathroom. I sat up and my eyes landed on my beautiful wife sleeping on the chair damn that must be uncomfortable I thought.

I didn't want to make a sound but the bed moved and her eyes snapped open. Ow she said rubbing her neck and I chuckled.

She looks over to me and I could see the relive on her face. Hey your up she said and came towards me.

Yeah. Before anything could you help me with this I really need to use the bathroom I said and she made the ohh face.

Gimme your hand she said and I looked at her confused. Wait can you.... Shouldn't you be calling a nur....... There you go she said removing it and I looked at her surprised.
Hm interesting I said and hopped off the bed.

I went into the bathroom did my necessities and finally I felt relived don't blame me tho. I walked out and I found her by the bed going through her phone.

She heard the door close behind me and she looked up. The moment her eyes landed on me she gave me a huge smile.

You good now? she asked as I sat on the bed. Yes I'm good I said and sat down resting my back. She fixed the drip back and sat back on the chair.

She looks really exhausted and sleepy all together and that broke me. Wait I said and she looked at me. Where's my shirt I asked because It's getting cold.

Oh I think it should be heree......Aha she said as she found it in a bag. Here she said and put it over my head. She put the shirt for me and she sat back down.

Come sit with me I said and she smiled. I can't do that she said and I chuckled. Why? just come I said and she sat by the edge.

Lie down I said and she looked at me. Come on lie down we sleeping together and the beds a little bit huge I said and pulled her closer with my left arm.

She laid on my chest but she didn't put her weight on me. What happened? I asked. Nothing she said and I sighed.

Then lie down well I said and she chuckled.you Ohk she asked. Yes I'm good don't worry about me I said and kissed her forehead.

We stayed in silence for a while and when I checked she was fast asleep. A smile made it's way to my lips and pulled her closer with my right hand.

I woke up by the sudden noise around me. My eyes slowly opens and I found mama, Nal,bello his wife Hafsat and anwar tho I couldn't find Amani anywhere.

I think mama noticed me looking around. I sent her home if that's what your wondering Areef mum said with a chuckle. Obviously you aren't happy to see non of us here she said and I chuckled.

Haba mama you know I'm the happiest seeing you here I said and she smiled. How you feeling? Bello asked. I'm very good brother I said and he rolled his eyes. See I knew he was fine he said and we all chuckled.

Uncle Areef I heard anwar say he left his mum and he ran towards me. Heyyyy come on can you jump up I said gesturing at the bed. He nodded his head and he jumped up.

Anwar your a big boy now huh I said and he smiled a toothy grin. Ofcourse uncle Areef, today I'm gonna stay with you he said

Your daddy won't agree with that I said and we both looked at bello. Yeah we are leaving anyways bello said and anwar looked sad.

Hay don't worry when I'm back home you can come Ohk I said and a huge smile appeared on his face.

Come on let's go bello said. I bid them goodbye and they left. I turned and looked at mama and she smiled.

What would you eat my dear she said. Anything. You cooked it right? I asked because let's face it I love her food and I can tell if she isn't the one who cooked it.

Yes I did she said with a chuckle. She served me some rice and stew with some veggies urgh.   Thank you I said when she kept it on the little bed table infront of me.

The tube on my hand was removed a while ago so I can eat better actually and I think they might release me today.......I hope.

Mama was just quiet typing away on her phone like really I don't know what she's typing I thought.

I finished my food and just in time Amani came in. She looked deprived of sleep, exhausted and just not my Amani.

She looked at me and you could see that she saw the worried confused face and she smiled. I'm fine she mouthed.

Mama Ina wuni she said and ma! Looked up. Oh my dear your back ma said and she looked at her worried.

Are you ohk Amani! You look sick my dear she said and held her hand. I'm fine ma! I'm just a little tierd she said and mama nodded. But you should rest Ohk mum said and she nodded

Why don't you go I will stay with him mama said. Oh....... he was just released actually they said we can go she said and I felt a relief.

She started packing the stuff and taking it to the car. She was done and we all headed out. Make sure you get some rest both of you mama said and we both nodded.

She got to the car and they drove off. Come on let's go she said as she walked to the drivers seat.

We both got in and she roared the car to life. She looked really and extremely exhausted......you sure you can drive I asked because I just had to.

Yeah don't worry I'm good she said and we hit the road.

We got home in 20 minutes and hopped out of the car. She opens the house with her key and we got in. Damn I've just been gone two days but I missed it here.

We got to my room and she headed for the bathroom straight.she was acting weird not gonna lie. I pushed that thought out of my mind and I headed for the bed to lie down cuz I'm a little bit weak.

You ohk? I heard her voice and my eyes snapped open. I should be asking you that I said and she smiled. Don't worry about me I'm fine she said and went back into the closet.

I don't know how but I was welcomed by a dreamless sleep
