You could only imagine the pressure I'm under as at this moment since when dad told me I'm taking over and getting married . I have no idea what to do. I can't say no I have to obey him.

I'm currently just in my room lying down absolutely doing nothing just using my phone. I'm not even paying attention to it. Muhammad and Umar walked into the room and I looked at them.

Hey I said and we shaked hands. Muhammad sat by the other edge of the bed and Umar sat on the couch. Why do you look like that Umar asked. Like what?  You know like you are planing someone's murder Muhammad said.

Please I'm not in the mood I said. Alright then they said and started to talk and totally ignored me. Like oh my GOD. Toh fine baba said I'm not going back to base I said and they both look happy ofcourse they were trying to hide it but it was obvious. 

Ohh sorry they both said. Yeah like your not happy about it I said and they looked at each other. Are you gonna start looking for a job orrrr....Umar said. Nop I said and they both looked at me confused. I'm taking over babas company. BRO!!!!!!! They both said. 

This is great news your supposed to be happy damn. Yeah but his getting me married I said and their excitement quite down. Oh SHIT!! Umar said. Literally. Like that doesn't happen anymore dose it I asked.

Nooo. Why will he do this Muhammad asked. Bro I'm not even in the mood.  I'm just very very annoyed I said. Umar when did you come back I asked changing the subject.

Oh I came back last week man. Mum  said you didn't come see her since she heard you came back he said and I chuckled. I will come I have to ai it's a must I said and we both laughed

Now you I said facing Muhammad. Yes me! What did I do he said. When is the date to your wedding sef I asked. It's in two weeks fah. I can't believe your asking me. Ohk stop being dramatic please.

We talked about his wedding and what not. It was already time for Asr so we headed to the mosque. We prayed asr and Muhammad and Umar decided to go play ball. I didnt want to go back home so I decided to go for a drive. I love driving it helps me clear my mind.

I got into my 2019 jaguar XJ50. I love this car believe me I'm obsessed no cap. I drove out of our compound and I hit the busy roads of Abuja. I decided to drive down Airport road since todays a Sunday there won't be any traffic

I was driving while listening to some music ofcourse I switched off my phone I don't like disturbance. I wasn't driving fast or slow literally I'm just driving at 100.

I drove around for about two hours until it started getting dark. I decided to get back home and just as if she read my mind the moment I decided to switch my phone back on my mum calls me.

Areef! I heard her voice the moment I picked the phone. Yes ma! Where are you she asked. I'm almost home mama I said. Better I couldn't find you so I got worried she said and a smile made it's way to my lips.

I'm fine mum. Im on my way back home I said. Ohk ohk when you get back come to my room Ohk she said and I nodded like she could actually see me. Ohk sure mama I said and she disconnected the call.

I got home in 20 minutes and parked in the house. It was already time for magrib so I went to the mosque to pray. I got into the house and went straight to mamas room and I met her on the prayer mat making dua.

I jumped on the bed and laid down. She finished and she sat down on the bed. She lifted my head and placed it in her lap. Ma! You know if any of them should come here you won't hear the end of it koh? I said and she laughed

Don't worry she said. Areef! She called. Naam I answered and looked up at her. Are you ohk with the marriage thing? I can try to talk to him for you she said with concern. No mama don't worry baba knows the best for me and you know I haven't dated anyone in a while.

So maybe this isn't such a bad idea that's if she pretty I said with a smirk and she hit my head. We both laughed. You silly boy she said and I chuckled. Mamaa you know me yeah she gaz to be pretty I said and she laughed.

Well I know she's pretty. It's your dads friends daughter. I'm not sure which one tho but they both pretty Masha Allah she said. Oh really I said and she nodded

You can go see her you know she said and I looked at her. Noo mum that ain't happening and you know I said and took my head off her lap. What! Whyyy she said. Don't you wanna know if she's prettier than I claim she said

Wow seriously ma! I said and she laughed. Will you go? she asked. Just once Ohk please she said. Mama you don't have to say please. I will go next week in sha Allah don't worry I said to her and she smiled.

Areef! She called.  Muhm(looked at her). Try not to scare to child Ohk She said and I smiled. Ahh ma! You know me too well. I will try,TRY! Fah I said and she laughed. I will try to smile I said. Yauwa good she said and I smiled.

I really hope she would be able to make you smile more than I do she said and placed her hand in my cheek. Yeah ma! I highly doubt that I said. She just kept quiet and smiled.

The adhan for isha was called. Get off me go and pray mama said pushing my head away. Wow Ma! A whole me your pushing me away I said and she laughed

Please go she said and I walked out with a smile. Even if I'm not up for this marriage thing I will definitely do it because of my mum.
