Who knew I had a wife who over thinks way too much but I won't judge I also didn't take the Jamal news pretty well so it's a win win actually.

It's been weeks since the ceremony. Amal is still home for the 40 days stuff like that's just torture bro.

I'm currently at work and Amani is at their house she finally let me talk to her into going to see her family. She only went because of her dad. I will never understand their bond.

I've just been looking at emails and my heads starting to hurt real bad. Umar came in and I looked up.

Oh hey bro I said and we did a bro hug. Where have you been I asked as we both sat down on the couch.

Well you disappeared after you got married for what like two months he said and I chuckled. It's three months I said.

Oh I see he said and we both chuckled. What's the time I asked and he looked at his wrist watch. Oh it's time for asr he said and we both stood up.

Alright let's go I'm packing up for today anyways I said and shoved my phone in my pocket. We headed out and walked to the mosque.

We prayed asr and did dua for my loved once.
I saw Jamal at the mosque believe me I thought he wasn't in Nigeria.

He saw and came towards me hmm the least I could do is be nice. Hey he said and we shaked hands. How have you been he asked. I'm good I'm good Alhamdulilah and you I asked.

I'm good he said and Umar came. This is Umar I said and they shaked hands. It was nice to see you again he said and I nodded.

He left and Umar looked at me. His Amani's best friend I said. Wait what! Damn he said and I gave him a look. I'm just saying.

A huge case happened because of that guy I said and he chuckled. Well obviously he said and both chuckled.

How is she Umar asked. Oh she's good she's at her parents house actually I said and he made the ohh face. You gonna go pick her up he asked.

Yeah actually I said looking at my wrist watch which says 4:30. Let me go we will talk later I said and we pathed ways.

I got to their house in less than 30 minutes and I parked at the parking space. I headed to the door and knocked.

A little girl opened the door and she immediately captured my heart.she might be around 3-4 years.

Who are you she asked bringing me out of my thoughts and I smiled. I got into the house and closed the door behind me.

What's your name she asked again and I bent to her height. My name is Areef what's yours I asked and she smiled. Ohh your Aunty Mimi's husband she said. Mimi? I asked. Yes Mimi. My name is manal she said with a toothy smile.

And that's my sister minal she said pointing to someone and I turned. Minal she called and she turned damn they are identical twins wow I won't know who is who at all.

Can you call Amani for me I said to manal and she looked confused. I mean mimi I said and she smiled. Ohk she said and she ran upstairs.

I went to the sitting room and sat down while minal was so focused on the TV. Heyyy I heard Amani's excited voice and I looked up.

Hey I said and she looked at minal. She dosent talk much dose she I asked and she nodded no. I've figured but I'm guessing she dose I said gesturing at manal who would t stop smiling.

Yes their ya Faruks children. She said and I made the ohh face. Manal can you go tell Aunty halima uncle Afreefs here she said and manal ran up again.

Be careful manal Amani yelled and I chuckled. Dad just went out so she said. Oh that's Ohk.

I finally get to see your husband Amani we heard and we both turned. Ina wuni anty( good evening aunty) I said and squatted.

How are you my dear please stand she said with a smile that looks genuine I think. I'm good Alhamdulilah how's the family I asked and she smiled.

Alhamdulilah hope Amani isn't giving you headaches she asked and I chuckled. No no she's not I said and she smiled. Masha Allah.

We will be going now aunty I said. Oh so soon she said and I looked at Amani who had no emotion on her face.

We will come back soon in sha Allah I said and she nodded Ohk. Aunty Mimi when can we come to your house manal asked when aunty halima left the room.

Soon don't worry she said and gave her a tight hug. Minal no hug for Mimi she said with a pout and minal ran into her arms.

Ohk be good girls Ohk she said and patted their head. Yes aunty Mimi they both said. You didn't say bye to uncle Areef she said and looked at me.

They came towards me and gave me a hug. Don't worry we will take you home one day Ohk I said and they both nodded.

We headed out and got to the car. Are they just with Aunty halima there I asked as we got into the car. With their nanny she said and I made the ohh face.

I drove out and we hit the road home and Amani has been awfully quiet. Hay you ohk I asked and landed my hand on her thighs and she looked at me. 

Yeah I'm ohk she said with a smile that did not reach her eyes. We got home and I parked. We got out and she opened the door with her key.

She's being awfully quite and I'm not enjoying it. We both went into the room and she sat by the edge of the bad with her hands on her face.

Hay you ohk I asked worried. I'm good I'm just stressed she said and did that same smile again.

She stood up and was about to leave the room when I held her wrist. Come I said and enfolded her in a hug. She hugged me tight and right there I knew she wasn't alright.

She hid her face in my chest while I smoothed her back. I don't know for how long we've been standing there but I had to make sure she was good.

A hug says A lot. A hug is a form of communication a lot of us don't know it but A single hug can cheer someone up. A hug shows........love,Affection,support,consolation and more.

People hug when they are out of words to say like when someone's happy but they just can't express it so they hug it out or when someone's going through something tragic and can't just say it they express it through a hug.

A hug makes someone feel safe with that person. A lot is said during a hug we just don't know it...................❤️
