Amani's pov

I am so tierd subhanallah I thought as I got into my car. I kept my bag at the passenger seat and put my seat belt on. I roared the car to life and I heard my phone ring.

I connected it to the car and answered.

Hello! I said

Miha; THE DATE HAS BEEN SET BITCH!!

Me; REALLY!! Oh my God Mihran I'm soo happy. when?

Miha; ending next month

Me; Are you blushing(smirking)

Miha; Pft no please go(cuts call)

The nerve of this girl wlhi I thought as I drove out of baze. It's almost time for magrib and the hold up here will drive me CRAZY! Literally.

I got home a little bit After isha ofcourse Areef was home already. I parked my car beside his and walked to the door. I tried opening it with my key but It wouldn't work so I knocked.

The door got opened by who I never thought I would see again SUMAYYAH!!  You could only imagine my reaction at this moment. I had no words I just smiled.

She hissed and walked back to the sitting room and sat on the sofa with her feet on the table. Wow that's nice I thought

I got in and closed the door behind me. I walked up to his room and I found him lying down. Still? I asked and he looked at me.

He has been a little bit sick and he dosent want to go to the hospital. I'm ohk babe don't worry about me he said with a week smile which was totally not convincing.

I went and sat beside him all this while he didn't take his eyes off me. I touched his four head and his burning up. Come on we are going to the hospital I said and stood up.

Please I'm ohk he started saying but I cut him off. Come on I said and pulled him up. He was shirtless so I got him a shirt from the closet.

I took a hold of his hand and we walked out. I took my keys from the counter all this while sumayyah was watching peacefully.

What happened she asked looking at Areef . His sick so we going to the hospital. Let's go if you wanna come I said. I had to say that because I'm not quite comfortable leaving her alone in my house no thank you.

She got her abaya and she headed out. Let's go I said and closed the door with my key. I made him comfortable on the passenger seat and laid it back alittle.

I got to the drivers seat and hit the road. He was breathing heavily and gasping for air. I held on to his hand until I got to the hospital trying not to break down.

I got to the hospital and he was rushed to the emergency I didn't think it was this serious but suddenly my eyes were filled up with water.

He will be fine in sha Allah I heard sumayyah say with a genuin smile. I started getting dizzy and I could see the confused look on sumayyahs face.

Are you ohk she asked. Yeah I'm fine I said with a smile but she didn't look convinced. Come let's go check you out she said and took a hold of his hand.

No no I said and looked at the room they wheeled Areef in. He will be fine just come with me she said and pulled me to the doctors office.

We sat in the office while waiting for him when I just had to ask. Why are you being nice to me? She smiled and looked at me. Well I thought you were like your sister but your not. Not even a little bit.

I thought you don't love Areef and he has been hurt enough so I was just looking out for him she said and just in time the doctor came in.

Good evening ladies he said and sat behind the desk. He asked me a couple of questions and the most weird one was " when was the last time you saw your period?"

Uhm I really can't remember I said and he nodded. Excuse me please he said and went out. He came back after a while with a pregnancy box and I was confused more.

Here he said and handed me the kit. Don't worry I'm not saying you are I just want to make sure he said. He pointed me to the bathroom and I went ahead and took the test.

I waited five minutes then I headed out. What did it say he asked. I can't look here sumayyah please I said and handed it to her.

I could see the shock on her face with a huge smile. It's positive she said and I couldn't move an inch. Well that clears out my work. Mrs Ahmad! Congratulations your pregnant he said.

Sumayyah hugged me tight all this while I was having mixed emotions. I mean Alhamdulilah this is the greatest gift ever but.....

Well we have been married for almost 8 months now so I guess that's alright?? 

Stop thinking too much the doctor said snapping me out of my train of thoughts. He told me my do's and don't. We headed out and went back to where Areef was admitted. He was moved into a room so it's easier to see him.

Hey! I called to sumayyah before we got in. Can you not tell anyone about this until I tell him I said and she nodded. Wow this is a lot easier when she's not glaring at me.

We go in and I saw him shirtless with a duvet in his chest and a tube connected to his hand. I called his mum already so she would be here in some minutes probably.

He looks tired and pale but still trying to look Ohk even when sleeping. Just as I thought his mum came in with Nal and a basket of food.

Ina wuni I said and stood up from the chair. Lafiya qalau Sannu Amani she said and I smiled. She sat beside him smoothing his hair saying some duas.

Nal hugged me tightly I almost couldn't breath. Bro are you trying to kill ne I said and she released me. Sorry she said and we both chuckled.

They stayed for a while then left with sumayyah. I gave her one last look of please don't tell them and she mouthed don't worry and left.

I sat beside him and looked at him sleep peacefully and a smile made it's way to my lips. I kissed his forehead and adjusted the duet on him.

I switched off the lights and sat back on the sear beside the bed. I ate alittle of the food they bought because I'm damn hungry and with the thought of that.

Realization just hit me that I'm pregnant.....
