STEFS POV
My babies have been in another persons home for 4 days now. I called Lena multiple times but she didn't answer until yesterday. I explained the whole thing and she said that she would be on the first flight today. I hope she hurries because I need my daughters here, with me, at home, where they belong. Also because I have not seen my wife in almost a month and I feel like my heart has been broken into millions of pieces.
CLARAS POV
I have been here for 5 days and things are getting bad. Callie's dad came in the middle of the night and got her out and they tried to sneak me out but we were to late. Pat has a boyfriend that is a drug dealer and they are prostituting girls. They told me that I start "working" tomorrow. "I need to get out of here now" Is all I can think.
One of my chores is outside and when Jan brought us here I noticed a phone booth just down the street. I took some quarters that I found on the counter so when I go to do my chore I will go down there.
I go outside to do my chore. I look around to make sure no one is watching me and no one is. I quickly walked to the phone booth and inserted the quarters. I dialed Stef's number. "Please please answer" I thought as it rang. At this point tears were building up in my eyes because I was so afraid.
"Hello?" Stef said and once I heard her voice the tears streamed down my face. "Stef!" I said trying not to let my voice quiver,"Clara, baby is everything okay, Lena is on a plane right now!" Stef said in a rush "Stef please you need to come now! These people are very bad and I'm scared Stef, please!" Just as I said it the door to the house opened and Pat started walking towards me, she was angry! "She's coming! Please hurry Stef! I'm scared" I yelled practically bawling. Just then Pat held something up in her hand, it was a gun. "Stef she has a gun, please hurry please!" I said almost hysterically. "Baby I'm on my way right now okay, I love you" Stef replied. " I love-" the phone ran out of time and I turned to see that Pat's boyfriend was now outside too.
They got closer and closer to me and so did the police sirens until 3 police cars stopped in the middle of the street. They all got out of their cars and pointed their guns at Pat and her boyfriend who had their guns pointed at me.
I heard a loud noise and fell to the ground, I heard Stef scream and then I heard 2 more loud noises.
