MARIANAS POV
My eyes flutter open, I grab my phone off of my night stand and check the time. 7:47. I check the snapchats I got while I was sleeping and I catch up on everything I missed in the group chat I have with my friends.
I got up and ran into Clara's room. She was already awake and on her phone. "Hey Clarbear!" I said as I sat next to her in her bed putting my legs under the covers. "Okay so I was thinking we should go to breakfast and are you ready for your surprise!?" I asked excitedly.
"Yeah," she said slowly and you could tell she was unsure but she had a smile on her face.
"Well, I was talking to moms, and we all agree that you deserve a little shopping spree. So here is this," I said handing her a debit card with her name on it, "it has $500 on it and it is all yours! Oh and don't feel bad because we all have our own cards. Moms get money from the state for adopting and they don't need it so they split it up and put it on our cards"
CLARAS POV
My eyes grew like 3 sizes and I'm pretty sure my jaw fell on the floor. I gave Mari a hug and said "hang on."
I got out of bed and ran to my moms' room and knocked on the door. "Come in baby" I heard Stef say.
I bursted threw the door and went to the closest mom I could find, which happened to be Stef. I threw my arms around her.
"What's up love?" She asked me. Mama walked out of the bathroom to see what was going on.
"Mama! Come here!" I said. She did as I asked and as soon as she got close enough I let go of Stef and latched on to Lena who slowly put her arms around me returning the hug.
"Honey, everything okay?" Lena asked me.
Lol oops I forgot to say thank you! "I just wanted to thank you guys! You really didn't have to do that!" I told them.
"Oh, yes we did my love! You deserve it and so much more!" Stef joined our hug making it a mama sandwich.
"I love you moms," I told them.
"We love you too Clarbear," Stef replied.
Lena was being awfully quiet, I think it might be about what we talked about when she had me come to her office yesterday.
I searched to make eye contact and when I finally did I gave her an "everything okay?" Look, to which she simply smiled.
I gave her a kiss on the cheek and then turned to Stef as Lena let go and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Have a good day moms! And thanks again!" I said as I walked towards the door.
"Thanks babe, have fun with Mariana!" Lena replied.
I walked back into my room where Mariana had an outfit picked out for me.
We both were getting ready when the doorbell rang.
"I got it!" Jude yelled from downstairs.
A minute later Jude came upstairs and into the bathroom where we were getting ready.
"Um, Clara, it's for you."
