****5 MONTHS LATER****
Callie and Clara have been adopted for about 2 months.
TERIS POV
I woke up and wiped the sleep from my eyes. I turned slowly to see if my love was still asleep. When I turned she wasn't there. I got a little worried, but then I heard some foot steps coming up the stairs and as the footsteps got closer the smell of bacon got stronger. I rolled my eyes and smiled realizing what Lena had done.
There was gentle knock at the door.
"Come in my love," I said smiling. The door opened and all 6 of my kids walked in along with my lovely wife. First Lena came in with a tray, then Brandon with a glass and a pitcher of juice, then Callie with a plate with eggs and hash browns, then Mariana with a bowl of fruit, then Jude with a smaller plate with toast and bacon, and Jesus brought silverware and a napkin, and finally Clara came in with a bouquet of flowers.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!" They all shouted
I probably have the biggest smile ever on my face, "come here my sweet sweet babies!" I commanded
They each gave me a quick hug and then assembled everything on the tray in front of me.
"Well mom, we will give you and mama some space. Uh, just let us know if you need anything," Callie said sweetly. "Thank you so much my babies I love you," I said very lovingly. They all replied with "love you mom," and shuffled out the door. They shut the door behind them.
I looked at Lena, I love this woman so much. I leaned in quickly and kissed her. I must have taken her by surprise because when I went to deepen the kiss she pulled away.
"Is everythi-" she cut me off by kissing me and deepening it. She cupped my cheeks in her hands and we continued to kiss only taking small breaks to breathe. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her in until my juice wobbled but luckily only a few drops splashed out right onto the napkin. I looked at Lena and we both laughed.
"I guess I'd better eat huh," I joked. Lena laughed and said sarcastically,"well I better help you eat this bacon! I know you don't like it," as she picked up a piece of my bacon. "Babe!" I shouted as I watched her eat it. She laughed knowing that I was joking. I leaned in to kiss her again but she stopped me "hon I still have bacon in my mouth," she said through a full mouth,"yeah, that's kind of the point," I said matter of factly. There was a dead silence and I broke it by laughing, "babe I was just kidding," she blushed and laughed.
I ate most of my food, with help from Lena. "Babe thank you for doing this, I love you," I said softly. "Actually it was all the kids' idea! And I love you," she pulled out a box from behind her back and handed it to me," my love you didn't have to get me anything. You are my present," I said and winked at her. She smiled and said "open it," I open the box and see a gold chain with small gold circle charms that each have a letter. There were 7 of the charms. The letters were the kids and Lena's initials. I smiled at her. "It's beautiful, I love it, I love you," I said as I pulled her in for a hug. "Thank you Lena," I said. "Anything for you my love,"
