STEFS POV
I'm still pissed at Lena but I am trying not to show it for Clara's sake. Clara has been in the hospital for 6 days now with a shattered femur from being shot. She also had a minor concussion from hitting her head when she fell. She is improving very well and after surgery tomorrow she will get to come home.
My mom, Sharon, flew in to help watch the kids while I stayed here with Clara. Lena would come when she got off work so I could go see the kids and pick up the house a little.
Today is a Sunday so Lena will bring the kids by to see Clara before surgery.
CLARAS POV
There was a knock at the door and Lena walked in "hi babies!" She exclaimed. Stef stood up and greeted Lena with a peck on the lips. Lena then came over to my bedside and kissed my forehead.
"Where is everyone else?" I asked. I kind of miss my siblings. "They are downstairs with grandma, and they should be up soon," Lena said with a smile.
She went over to the recliner where Stef was sitting again and she sat in the chair with her. Their legs tangled together, Lena's head nestled into Stefs neck and Stefs arms were around Lena. Once lena was settled Stef kissed her temple.
STEFS POV
I let my lips linger after kissing Lena's temple. Even though I'm not happy with Lena I still missed her and it felt good to have her in my arms again. I watched as Clara drifted to sleep again and I looked down at Lena who was almost asleep too. I kissed her temple again and she lifted her head to kiss me and after whispering "I'm sorry," she passionately kissed me again. I looked into her eyes and they were glossy. I could tell she felt bad so I kissed her again and this time we deepened the kiss.
Our make out session lasted until my mom and the kids came in. My mom came and kissed my forehead then Brandon Mariana Jesus and Jude did the same Callie just said "hey mom" while looking down. I looked at Lena concerned and she gave me a concerned look back. "I'll go talk to her," I said as I kissed Lena's forehead and got up. "Callie, will you come with me to the cafeteria real quick baby?" She continued to look down and she nodded her head she walked out the door and I followed with my arm around her back.
I stopped and turned to Callie "baby? What's up?" She leaned up against the hallway wall still looking down. I gently pushed her chin up and tried to make eye contact and I succeeded. Tears were welling in her eyes "baby talk to me please" she let out a sigh and a tear rolled down her face " this is all my fault," she said as more tears fell "I shouldn't have left her there, I was stupid and selfish and I'm a horrible sister" she said sobbing "Clara probably hates me! You probably hate me too!" I surrounded her in my arms "no baby that's not true! I love you Callie loves you mamma loves you your siblings love you and that isn't going to change baby! And this is not your fault, Callie doesn't blame you and I don't blame you love!" She put her arms around me and I pulled her closer "how about you stay here with me and Callie tonight?" Callie looked up at me "are you sure?" She asked "of course baby, as long as you will snuggle with me" I joked. Callie laughed and answered " well of course" and we walked back to the room
