Later that night at about 3, Arthur found that he couldn't sleep and was sitting by the window contemplating with himself. The conversation with the strange man lingered in the servant's head throughout the day and it hasn't eased off by this time, hence why he wasn't able to sleep. Arthur soon heard the yawn of a sleepy young prince behind him then to him rising from the bed after noticing that his servant wasn't by his side. He faintly sees his lover over by the window and reached for his glasses before emerging from the bed and joining the blonde.

"What's the matter, Artie? Can't sleep?" The young man asked while taking the nearest seat . The servant at first didn't want to answer but sighed in defeat. "Well...After that conversation with Cheng, I'm not sure what to do..." He said in a low tone. He looked over to see that Alfred was already leaning forward as if to give a serious talk, but his tone was disconnected from this posture. "Okay...What do you feel you want to do, buddy?" He asked, which was met with sad brows dropping on the servant's face. "That's the problem." Arthur began. "What can I do with what he had told me? The Arnialese were enslaved for longer than I thought and all those images we saw...It seemed like a repetitive part of history, a feud that never settled which is why the wars happened again and again..."

Alfred pushed up his glasses before responding to this statement. "That shouldn't have to be your problem, Artie..." He said, catching the man's attention. "Why not though?" Arthur said in slight annoyance. "I was part of that godless chained up life for too long. I know what kind of horrible dealings and treatments they've been through more than anyone else I could think of and some would be sold to other kingdoms..." He explained, to which Alfred nodded in agreement. "I suspected as much since Mom's passing..." He said before leaning back. "Dad had the power to change rules and practically reduce the abuse and mistreatment of the people that work as sl- servants. But he hasn't actually done anything. Not even me getting a scratch on my back made any difference in his eyes. All the servants and maids here were just for show. He only cared if they were useful to him...heartless bastard..." He said the last part under his breath.

"You don't mean that though, Al." Arthur spoke in a softer tone this time while leaning forward towards the prince. "Not everything he did was for show." "He initially didn't want me to have you as my servant. At the time I didn't get why and I still want to know more on that part." Alfred raised his voice before calmed to avoid making a scene. "I want to change the way of living for not just the Arnialese but for everyone. I don't want our kingdom to support enslavement anymore. People, Arnialese included should have rights to their own way of life. It's what Mom always wanted for her people and this land..." He finished in a woeful tone.

"Couldn't I help make that reality too?" Arthur asked, drawing the young man's attention to his lover. He placed a hand on Arthur's before smiling. "By my side when I am King, I'm sure you can Arthur. As long as I have you, we can make positive changes for this kingdom." He said before leaning to for a kiss, in response Arthur naturally did the same for a brief few seconds. The talk with the future king certainly helped him feel calmer and reassured that as either a queen or royal escort to Alfred, they can achieve anything. He looked back to the sky before getting up from the chair and following his lover to the bed to sleep the rest of the night.

The next thing that happened was unexpected for the young prince. Alfred found himself in a section of the castle that was already broken by a war happening outside and debris was all over the place. He felt the ground shake a few times before he made a mad rush for safety. He scoured the area for something before calling out. "Arthur! Mattie! Anyone!" He cried out before seeing a shadow behind Arthur before seeing a growing patch of crimson over his chest area, then resuming his focus to his servant who had liquid red coming from his mouth, his eyes progressively losing their shine. His lover was dying right in front of him. He saw Arthur mouth a word with a pained voice accompanying it. "Run...Alfred..." He spoke before the shadow withdrew his weapon, causing him to collapse lifelessly in front of Alfred. Much to the devastation of the prince. He fell on his knees and screamed out loud causing the castle around him to collapse.
