- Cassie -

I nearly dropped the phone. Isn't he..

Then why is he..

He clicked some buttons on the other side. "Uh.. Hello?.."

This must be a joke.

"Who's your mom?" I asked.

He laughed. "Sis it's me Jack. Hailey is our moms name. Hailey Grace Holland to be exact."

I almost dropped the phone again.

"I-.. B-but.."

"Father's name. Nick David Holland."

"J-Jack?"

"Cassie yes."

"D-does mom k-know..?"

"She always has."

"W-why didn't.."

He sighed. "They left me in the hospital for a while Cassie. I don't know what mom said to you.."

"Y-you're dead.."

"Pretty sure I'm alive."

All these years.. I've been lied to..

"I'll be over tomorrow."

"W-what..?"

A click then a line of silence.

- Dean -

"What the hell is her problem." my mom said rolling the window down.

"I don't frickin know."

"Well dammit Dean! You know she shouldn't be treating you like shit!"

I turned the radio up so I wouldn't have to hear her voice.

"Dean!" She yelled.

"What the hell do you want!?"

"You need to drop this with her! Shes a bitch and we both know it."

I did. I wondered what happened between us. Before was sparks, now they're dead.

I still loved her it hurt.

"I just want my daughter back."

I pulled into a parking spot. She sighed, then she got out, traveling around the flee market.

I did the same going the other way, I glanced around. People talking, selling buying. Sale signs.

"Oh, hey, Dean!" Someone called from the other side, I turned around. Too come face to face with her.

The prettiest girl, black hair flowing through the wind, bright blue eyes, light skin, dark lipstick.

Vanessa.

"Oh uh.. Mrs. Spencer-"

"Please, Vanessa in the outside world." she smiled winking.

"Vanessa." I smiled trying out her name for real.

"So uh.. what brings you here Dean." She said.

"Ah just, getting out of the house you know."

She nodded, grabbing my hand and dragging me to a local stand filled with jewelry.

I laughed. "Really?"

"Yeah you know for.. a special someone in your life."

' You ' I thought to myself.

"Ah. Thanks, I actually got no one."

"Oh really? I thought you'd at least.. had a uh.. Girlfriend.

"Why would you think that?"

"Well, you're a very," she coughed.

"Yes?" I smirked.

"A-attractive.."

I blushed.

"Wait really?"

"I shouldn't be hitting on my-"

I kissed her hungrily, she did the same. Pulling her closet little kids covered their eyes giggling and saying ew. Older kids snapping pictures posting them and hashtagging literallygoals. Of course.

"Hey! Get a room!" A woman was sitting behind her stand, shooing us away with her hand, I pulled back from Vanessa.

I want to say, 'will do, thanks.' and wink. Drag Vanessa in the car and have fun.

Then I thought about, Cassie.

Our first time, was in that car.

"Dean." Vanessa snapped me out of it, shaking my arm.

"Dean! what the hell are you doing?! We have to leave!" My mom yelled.

She sighed.

"I'll.. See you Monday, Dean." She walked away.

"Wait, Vanessa!.." I called to her, but she never answered back she was gone and I was out of it.
