As I'm running my luck having it I tripped and just sat there. Steve rushed after me and knelt down in front of me. I turned to look away but he grabbed my chin and made me look at him.
"Sweetheart" he said softly
"Your dating Nancy" I pouted
"Not anymore" he said
"You broke up just now?" I asked
"Had to and wanted to" he said softly
"I'm sorry" I said looking down again
"Look at me" he said in a dominant voice
I shivered and looked up at him causing him to smirk. He noticed how my body reacted to the dominance.
"Steve" I whispered
"Yes sweetheart?" He smirked
"You could have rejected me" i said
"I'd never chose someone over my soulmate" he smirked
My eyes lit up with joy and I quickly kissed him. I felt him smirk against my lips as he kissed back. When we needed air he pulled back and pressed a kiss to my forehead. Then he helped me up off the floor and hugged me. Although he hugged to tightly and I winced causing him to back up quickly.
"Did i hurt you?" He panicked
"No I'm just bruised from a skateboard accident" I giggled softly
Lying has been easier since I normalized the beatings.
"Come on sweetheart let's get you to class" he smirked and kissed me cheek
"Do we have to go back?" I pouted
"Yes now be a good girl and get to class" he smirked somehow knowing I had a weakness for that
"Fine if we have to" I whined
"Yo Steve" a male called out
"Hey Tommy" Steve said walking with his hand around my waist
I got nervous and leaned into Steve some more. He rubbed his thumb on my hip to calm me which I did sort of.
"Who's this?" A girl asked
"Yeah where's Nancy?" Tommy asked
"This is trinity my soulmate" Steve smiled brightly
"Harrington has a soulmate I'll be damned" Tommy laughed
"What the fuck does that mean?" I snapped
Steve held my waist but smirked down at me. Yes I was continently shorter than my soulmate of course.
"She's feisty" the girl laughed
"Shut up carol" Steve said
"Don't tell her to shut up" Tommy hissed
"Let's get you to class sweetheart" Steve said leading me to my next class
"English Stevie" I smirked
"Stevie I like it" he laughed and kissed my cheek
"What class do you have?" I asked
"Same let's go sweetheart" he smirked and held my hand as we entered class
Nancy wasn't in here she was a grade below us. I found that out from Steve just now. Both me and Steve were juniors this school year. It was finally nice to know I actually had a soulmate. To know he was willing to end a relationship in a second for me.
