Finding my way to you

Ch. 9

When Beam tried to find that little boy in Forth, his head started hurting because he couldn't find anything similar among them. Then he shook away the idea of being them the same person and tried to think positively. But who he was kidding. He really wanted to meet that little boy again.

But the thing that terrified him most was Forth's mother. Beam didn't know what would that lady do to him if she found out about him.

The whole day he tried to avoid them purposely.

In the evening Beam was ordered to clean the conference room. When Beam entered  the room a presentation was going on there. Forth, his mother and Pring was also present there listening to the presentation. They were too focused on the presentation that they didn't realise Beam's present. For which Beam thanked the God.

Beam saw that someone spilt  the coffee all over the table and in the corner a expensive looking vast was broken.

When Beam went to pick up the broken vast someone ordered him to clean the table first. This time Forth and his mother turned their attention to Beam. After watching Beam intensely for sometime Forth's mother turned away his attention from him. Feeling the intensity of someone staring, Beam already wanted to vanish from that place.

When Beam came out of the conference room after cleaning he just sighed in relief.

“Bring me the information about that cleaner boy as fast as possible. ” A lady ordered someone strictly and went out from the room.

“Nice to see you again. ” A lady greeted Beam casually.

Beam stopped his cleaning after hearing someone greet him. When he turned to the source of the voice, he became like a statue. In front of him was standing Forth's mother.

“What? Are you not happy seeing me again? ” Forth mother asked sarcastically.

“Wha... What a..are..you talking about? ” Beam tried to be brave.

“Oh. We don't want to play hide and seek or do you want to play it?  the lady smiled creepily.

“ Don't be afraid little boy . I won't bite. But I have little surprise gift for you.”Forth's mother then left from there after giving a sweet smile.

Beam tried to threw away the thought about Forth's mother's surprise gift because he knew that it wouldn't be something nice.

He really wanted to know if Forth had a brother because there is no way that the little boy would be Forth . Maybe Beam already knew that they were a same person but his heart was not ready to accept it. Because he was not ready for Forth's hatred.

When Beam reached his home which was a rented room , he noticed that something was unusual about his room. After closing the door from inside he tried to switch on the light but suddenly a hand grab Beam's mouth, preventing him from screaming. “Welcome home little boy ”a familiar voice whispered in Beam's ear. Beam didn't need to see his face to recognise him. His voice was enough to identified the person. Beam took a deep breath then bite hardly on the hand which was grabbing his mouth. When the man's grab became loose, Beam pushed the man and ran out from his apartment.

Beam was just running on the street hoping to go far away from his worse nightmare. Tears broke out from his eyes.

He hid behind a cark parking area . He was shivering. Beam didn't know how he find Beam after all these years. Suddenly Beam remembered about Forth's mother's surprise gift. He bit his lips from sobbing hard. He didn't know whom to asked for help. He felt helpless. He decided to spend the night there because he didn't want to go home to face the man who happened to be his adoptive father.

He used to abuse Beam . He was in a big debt. When people came to collect their money he just left Beam with them. In other words he sold Beam.

Beam didn't want to remember those days again. But now Beam realised that his past never left him. Beam curled up in a corner hugging his knees to his chest and waited for the darkness to consume him.

“So, how was the surprise? ” Forth's mother asked Beam the next day in the company.

Beam didn't give her any reply. He just bit his cheeks from inside his mouth.

“ I just want to see Forth's reaction when he will find out about the person, who took away his most important thing, is now working in his company. ” when Beam didn't answer her, she just casually informed Beam .

“You know what.. Forth hates that person from his childhood”with that she went out from the warehouse where Beam was working.
