Finding my way to you

Ch. 7

When Beam wake up from his darkness , the surrounding was covered with dark but Beam found himself in the warm embrace of someone. The natural aroma of rain and cinnamon filled Beam's whole body. It felt so familiar but rare. For the first time in his whole life Beam didn't feel scared of darkness. Being in the cosy embrace of someone Beam felt secure.

They were still inside the elevator. When the person realised that Beam gain his sense he readjusted his hold on Beam. “Are you okay now? ”a familiar gentle voice inquired Beam. Then the reality struck Beam that he was in the embrace of the CEO Forth.

Beam didn't know why but because of the gentle voice of the man , Beam felt vulnerable again and tears started to fall from his eyes . “It's okay. I'm here now. It's gonna be alright. ”,the man with the same gentleness started console Beam. Beam then realised that he was crying. Beam tighten his hold on the man and didn't care for the moment that even if he was making the man uncomfortable.

Beam unconsciously tighten his hold and  started to tremble. He felt that if the darkness went away then the warm feeling would be gone too. He scared to be alone again. He wanted to be selfish even if was just for a few seconds.

The man gently wiped away Beam's tear stained cheeks and stroke his hairs carefully. By feeling loved Beam snuggle more on the embrace.

This time Beam fallen asleep without any care of the world in the arms of the CEO.

Beam woke up when he felt that his surrounded was moving. He tried to open his eyes but the bright lights hurt his eyes . When Beam's eyes adjusted to the surrounding and started to remember his earlier doings, his whole body became the color of tomato.

He again found himself in the embrace of the CEO Forth. He was carrying Beam with his strong arms like Beam's weight didn't even bother him.

“Hold  tightly. You don't want to fall, do you? ”the man casually warned Beam. Unable to found his voice, Beam just shake his head as reply , tighten his hold and hide blushing face in the crook of the man's neck.

When they reached the parking spot, the CEO slowly let Beam to stand on the ground. Beam's legs wobbled but before he hit the ground Forth again hold him. Beam cursed mentally his clumsy self. “So... Sorry.. No.. Tha.. Thank you. ”Beam stuttered and  blushed profusely . And before Forth could replied something  , Beam ran away from there.

That night Beam slept peacefully. His clothes smelled like cinnamon and rain. It calmed him. No nightmares haunted him that night because Beam dreamt about someone special that night, who warmed his lonely night.

The next morning when Beam arrived at the company, he met the CEO on the hallway but the CEO ignored him like he never existed. Beam wanted to greet him but Forth didn't even spare him a glance. Beam felt hurt by the CEO's action.

Beam's mood became gloomy whole day.

In the night Beam dreamt about a car, blood and a little boy screaming .......then suddenly some people started chasing him........

5months had been passed away. Beam's life in the company became the same again. It became regular for him facing hurtful comments here and there.

The CEO came to the company rarely. When he came he just ignored Beam. The gap between their two different worlds seemed to be widen again. Beam saw him just two times in these 5 months.

Beam didn't even dare to complain because the CEO already did more than Beam deserved. He would be grateful to him always. His little crush on the CEO just worsen these days. He often dreamt about him. But it was not always about rainbows and colors.

And his nightmares also started to visit him again. He had lost count how many nights he spent sleepless.

It was a Sunday night.
Beam was returning to his home from his other part time job. The weather was crying soundly. It was the begining of the stormy night  . Beam hugged his sweater tightly and fastened his steps to reached his home before the storm catch him.

Judging the weather Beam decided to take the bus. But before Beam reached the bus stop rain started to pouring heavily.

Beam started to ran towards the bus stop. Suddenly a big black long car stopped before him, halting his speed. Then the door of the car opened. The scary looking bodyguard came out of the driving seat and command Beam to entered the car . Beam didn't want to enter. Seeing this the bodyguard grab his arm and pushed him to seat inside the car.
