Leopardvine is my main warriors OC at the moment. I change every so often. Snowshade is her lovely mate- Here's a quick backstory for ya.
Leopardvine had always felt something missing from her life, since her mother had died when she was 5 moons old and her sister, Reedkit, joined StarClan when they were 2 moons old. She was also half clan, her father is a LeafClan warrior called Vinestep, and while, now that he knows that he has a daughter, he makes an effort to visit at least once a moon, she is still lonely within her clan.
Her grandmother, Briarstar tried to cheer her up, as did her mentor, Blazingpetal. They were great company, but not the right sort of company. This continued until about three quarters into her apprenticeship, Snowpaw, one of the kits that Leopardpaw had shared a den with for a a few moons, was badly injured by a dog. During his stay in the medicine den the two apprentices grew insanely close, this was the company that Leopardpaw needed to lift her up.
The bond continued to grow, even after Snowshade earned his warrior name, about two moons after, Leopardvine finished her medicine training as well. Snowshade took her a a small cliff over looking the cove and bay in which the MeadowClan camp was located, and he asked her, quite clumsily, to be her mate. Leopardvine saw the bright glow in Snowshade's eyes and couldn't help but say yes.
Some cats were uneasy at first, of having a medicine cat with a mate. But the young mates argued that the old rule that medicine cats can't have a mate or kits should be scrapped and replaced with a new rule that said that medicine cats can have a mate, but can only have kits if another cat can take over their duties while they are nursing.
Leopardvine and Snowshade were grateful that their argument had gotten across and soon were expecting their first litter.
Like- The pose and background
