Chapter 18 ~ Birthday Boy

|

It was a long ass day the day I came back, everyone was apologizing except Vicente, I think he's too much of a coward to Apologize.

Some people asked how was I after been stabbed, emotionally and physically. They were looking for me but Vicente wouldn't let them and they gave up.

I feel guilty.

So guilty.

I don't know why but at the same time I do, it's because I never told Vicente I miscarried. A part of me wants to tell him but why would I tell him if it's already dead?

Nothing would change.

I wonder what would've happened if I was still pregnant? Would I be happy? Would I be a good mother?

I don't know why I feel like this.

The next day I woke up by Victoria creepily smiling at me like a fucking killer above me as I slept and made a noise that made me wake up, seeing her creepy ass face.

"What the fuck." I said, I got scared for a bit but I was pissed of her interrupting my sleep.

"Good morning!" She jumped on me, I groaned and got her off me.

"Why are you so happy? What fucking day is it?" I grabbed my phone, checking the day.

"It's Vicente's Birthday!"

It's October 31st.

"Isn't it Halloween today?" I cocked my head and looked up at Victoria.

"Yes but it's his birthday as well, dummy!" She slapped my arm, I glared at her and it made her stop laughing.

"So what if it's his birthday? Why are you telling me? Go party with your family or some shit." I rolled my eyes and started fixing myself to go back to sleep.

"You're going too! It's a good way for Vicente to ask-" she stopped herself before saying something she would regret.

"Finish your sentence." I glared at her.

"It's a good way to get drunk!" She tried to cheer me up, changing the subject and I went along because I don't really care.

"Whatever, what time and where at?" I grabbed my phone, about to write down and turn my timer on.

"We are leaving at eight and meeting at a club but we are all going together in a limo that Vicente has." She explained while I turned my timer on at six in the afternoon.

"Alright, can you leave now?" I yawned.

"Yeah sure," she got off my bed and before she left the room, she hesitated to leave.

"You know, Vicente loves you and I know you don't see it because he doesn't show it but I see his dark eyes turn into pure eyes when he's around you." She said and then she left.
