Chapter 19 ~ I Won't Forgive Ever Again

"So, how is Riley? I heard she was sick." I said while drinking my iced coffee.
"Yeah, she got a cold. So, she won't be working till she gets better." Victoria shrugged and drank her hot coffee.
"I hope she feels better, We should buy her something."
"We should but what could we buy her?" Victoria placed her coffee down.
"I don't know, a necklace? I mean you guys have been dating for eight months! I mean that's pretty nice isn't it?"
"I mean, yeah."
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"It's just that, she's been on her phone and not with me anymore. I rarely see her, it's not normal of her." She had a sad look on her face.
"It's probably because she's dealing with something personal, you never know." I shook my head and placed my hand on hers, comforting her.
"You're right, we should buy her a necklace for our eight months." She smiled, softly.
"Well, what are we waiting for?"
"Let's go." She got up and left a fifty dollar bill before leaving the cafe with me.
Suddenly I felt nauseous, I stopped and closed my eyes. Victoria looked at me confused, I ran towards a trashcan that was outside the Cafe and vomited.
"Oh shit!" Victoria moved my hair from my face, to not get it dirty with vomit.
Once I stopped vomiting , Victoria gave me a napkin from her small backpack and handed it to me. I cleaned my mouth and threw it in the trashcan.
"Fuck." I mumbled, looking down.
"Are you okay? If you want, we could go home and get a doctor."
"No, it's probably nothing. I'll go to the doctor later, I don't want to leave you alone and I wanted to visit Hailey, today."
"But Lilith, if you feel sick-"
"I promised her, Victoria." I looked at her, she nodded and grabbed my hand before taking me to the car.
"Get in." She said as she went inside, I got in the car and put my seatbelt on.
"Let's just go and buy Riley something. I'll drop you off at the house so I can go visit Hailey." Victoria nodded.
"Right, but where should we buy the necklace?" She asked me, changing the subject.
"The mall? I saw a golden heart shaped necklace and you can choose what sentence you want on it."
"Let's head there then." She turned on the car and pressed the gas.
