Lilith's POV
|
"I need you." I said softly before hugging him tightly, I couldn't cry but I wanted comfort.
For the first time, I wanted comfort.
I hugged him tightly as he hugged me back as well, he stroked the back of my hair before looking down at me. He placed his hand on my cheek and stroked it before kissing my forehead.
"Let's go go my car, yes?" He looked deeply into my eyes, I nodded and he nodded back.
He quickly carried me into bridal style and opened the door, placing me inside the car. He put my seatbelt on and closed the door before getting in.
"Where are we going?" I mumbled, he turned on the car and began to drive.
"Where ever you wanna go."
"Your house, I need to talk to you." I looked over at him, he was already looking at me.
"My house it is."

"What happened back there, love?" He asked as he cocked his head at me, sitting across me with his legs spread and hands on his thighs.
"I-I got carried away." I looked up at him in the eye.
"Tell me, why did you?"
"I got carried away because that man is planning to human traffic a person I care about."
"Who is that person, love?" He asked.
"Remember when I told you the man I killed, he had a daughter and a wife. Well the one they took was the daughter, I recused her from the streets so long story short I made sure she never ends up in the streets."
"Hailey?"
"Yes, her." I looked down at my hands.
"Shit, why do you need my help for?"
"I want you to try and find her with me." I stared at him, he showed no emotion and nodded.
"I have some information you might like, love." He started talking.
"What is that?" I asked him.
"The man you killed was an old member of the gang, he was the one that controls the human trafficking well used to but ever since my father died, I stopped the human trafficking and some people hated that so they left."
"Did he start his own business?"
"No, he's too dumb. I'm guessing he found someone, someone who has a strong empire but I'm not sure who?" He thought for a moment.
