Chapter Seven
The Aftermath

EVERYONE IN YOUR FAMILY WAS in depressed state after the loss of your older sister. The scene was still implanted and repeating in your head like a broken TV, it haunted you in your dreams. The rest of your family... well, let's just say they took the tragedy in their own way.

Michael was mostly outside with his friends, trying to avoid being in the house for long time. Chris started to suffer from nightmares after Elizabeth's death. Clara was mostly quiet, but you could hear her cry in your sister's room for hours to no end. However, the worst of them was William. He was mostly busying himself with tons of work, especially after his own company, Afton Robotics, along with Circus Baby's Pizza World were shut down.

The pizzeria was closed due to the gas leak, nobody said anything about your sister's death. However, your father and his bestfriend, Henry Emily, has opened a new restaurant called Fredbear's Family Diner with new animatronics. You couldn't deny the fact that you were pretty disappointed that you didn't get to see Lolbit perform, but what else can you do? You still have the plushie though, so you still get to remember the funny fox. It has been a few weeks since this new pizza place was opened and from there on, your father's behavior became rather... unexplainable. Sometimes he would be pissed off, sometimes he is calm. Sometimes he would appear so depressed, sometimes he would be all smiles and happy. Quite a strange mix of feelings during short times.

A few weeks later, will be your seventh birthday along with Chris which you considered as a chance to put some happiness into this family again.

Right now, you were visiting the new restaurant with your father and Michael who is meeting with his bully friends, Chris refused to join for some reason. Your Lolbit plushie was in your arms, you were hoping to see them here. Your father held your hand and started to guide you to the stage, "You see Y/N, these are the new animatronics. This is Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, and Chica. And over there..." He then pointed at the fox who was entertaining the kids on his own stage with purple curtains, "...is Foxy the Pirate." He introduced the robots to you with pride.

You looked at them with bored look, but tried to look more interested in them, "Yeah, they look funny though." You stated which made William chuckle at your remark. He ruffled your hair from above the hood of your cloak before picking your up, "Well, as long as they make you smile, it's won't bother me to change them." He stated and started to walk to another room.

"Papa... Is Lolbit going to work soon?"

"My darling, we talked about this. Those animatronics don't work anymore."

You pouted yet didn't question him which made William sigh, "If it makes you happy, I will try to see if I can fix them, okay?" Your face lit up when he said that, a new spark of hope is raising. This would be another good reason for William to return to the old restaurant anyway. After a short walk, you arrived to another birthday room with balloons, tables with parts on them, and birthday decorations. There was also a single stage that has another golden bunny.

Your father approached them, "This is Springbonnie, there's another bear here with him called Fredbear." He told you which left you confused. You looked at your father with a puzzled look, "Where's Fredbear?" You asked while looking around.

"Right here!"

A golden bear appeared out of nowhere, scaring the living hell out of you. You screamed and held into your father tightly, hiding your face in his shoulder, "He can move!" You exclaimed with fright while William was trying his best not to laugh. He put on a tough face in case you would look up, "Henry, look what you have done. You scared my daughter." He said while trying not to snicker because you might get made at him. The man in the suit chuckled and removed the bear head, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, friend." He apologized, letting out a breath of relief.

You looked back to see a man around your father's age, he has brown hair and green eyes. Henry smiled at you and waved, "Hello there little one, you must be Y/N, hm?" He friendly greeted you, offering his hand for a handshake. You took his hand and nodded, "Y-Yeah, it's n-nice to meet y-you, mr. Henry." You tried to sound polite, but the stutter showed that you were still scared.

"I'm glad to see she is alright, William. It would be really saddening to see such a smile fade." Henry spoke up, petting your head gently, "Now could you please help me remove the suit? I'm starting to get uncomfortable in here." Henry said with a nervous smile. "Of course. Let me just give Y/N to Michael." Your father replied and was about to leave, but Henry stopped him.

"She can play with my daughter over there." He said then called out a girl. She came running to him with excitement, she looked exactly like her father. You father placed you down and whispered to you, "Stay here and play with her. If you ever smell blood, cover your nose and hide until you calm down. And remember, don't go near places with sunlight." With that, he went with Henry to the safe room to remove the suit and put it in animatronic mode.

Suddenly, someone grabbed your hand, it was the girl, "Hi! My name is Charlotte. but you can call me Charlie. What's your name?" She excitingly asked, giving you a big a smile. You smiled shyly at her, "My name is Y/N." You introduced yourself, feeling a lot nervous and anxious. It was the first you stay someone around your age other than Chris. The girl seemed so cheerful and happy to be with you, so you didn't want to ruin this opportunity of having a friend.

"It's nice to meet you, Y/N! Would you like to play with me?"

"S-Sure, I... would love too!"

You hesitant for a moment, but then you beamed happily before playing with Charlie. You couldn't help but feel very excited to play with her, she was wonderful in all ways. It's was the first time you felt genuinely proud of making your first friend.
