I hate the water

(Zero's pov)

The next day i was feeling much better. Rin left me right when the siblings got back. Wataru tried hugging me, but ended up getting the door slammed in his face.

Today the brother's were forcing me to come out of my room, saying that i won't find beauty like this anywhere else. They decided we'd go hiking.

'If i wanted to find a tree i'd just go out of the apartment building' i thought dead-panned. Right now they all walked in the front while i lazed in the back of them with my ear phones plugged-in and my backpack on.

While walking i noticed Subaru glancing back, along with Iori and Yusuke, but i ignored their glances by looking to the side. My music blocked off their conversations and other noises.

It made me want to just fall asleep somewhere in the grass. I was so entrapped in my own fantasy i hadn't realized that one of the brother's slow down to my side.

I snapped my head to see it was none other then Futo. i clicked my tongue annoyed as i looked away with my arms crossed by.

He then decided to take out my earphone making me growl slightly. "Ne, why're you being so distant nee-chan? Aren't we supposed to be together?" he asked seductively in my ear.

Feeling annoyed by his close presence, i lightly punched him in the stomach making him gasp and let go of my ear bud. I then kicked him in the shin.

He yelped and started jumping around while holding his shin. "YOU'RE SO NOT CUTE! IT'S NO WONDER YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS!" He yelled at me. "Hoi what's going back there?" Azusa called tiredly as he crossed his arms.

"It seems Futo is messing with little sister," Tsubaki said gleefully as he came by me and opened his arms in attempt to hug me. "Don't worry nee-chan i'll protect you!" He stated as he proceeded in trying to hug me.

I dodged him so he fell on the ground.

"When will those idiots learn?" Hikaru muttered remorsefully as he face palmed. "Stop fooling around." Natsume ordered as he lead everyone back o not the trail.

I made a 'hmph' sound as i passed by Futo and Azusa.

Wataru and Ema played on the path while some of the brother's continued off with their discussions and others looking around at the nature. I now had my earplugs off in case another brother approached me.

A few minutes later we came to a nice clearing that lead to a lake. Everyone squealed in delight as they ran off to jump in the cool waters and avoid the scorching heat.

There was a deck about 20-30 feet long. I sighed as I calmly walked behind Ema who was being dragged by Wataru.

I took off my bag and took out the towel i had packed before placing it on the grass that had a few daises growing.
