Garmadon ran through Ninjago City, through the city already falling into ruin when he spotted the colorful ninja, "Give me the weapons. I am the only one who can handle the power of all four weapons at once. It's the only thing that'll defeat the Devourer."
"Uh, I thought we were supposed to do everything in our power not to let him possess the weapons." Jay pointed out
Zane looked at his friends, giving him the Shurikens of Ice, "I've ran every other scenario through my servers. It appears to be the only way."
"Give me the weapons." The Dark Lord repeated as Cole handed over the Scythe of Quakes
The Master of Ice looked at the red ninja, "Kai?"
Garmadon was getting impatient, saying, "Only I can destroy it. Or prepare to watch—"
"Quit your yammering and just do it." Kai interrupted, tossing him the Sword of Fire, "When you have a chance to make the blow, it has a weak spot near his forehead. "
Jay passed him the Nunchucks of Lightning, "Uh, I don't think this needs to be said, but we're gonna need these back."
The Master of Destruction chuckled, "I'll do my part. You just make sure he stays in one spot."
"Stays in one spot? Stays in one spot!? How are we supposed to do that?" Jay exclaimed as Garmadon ran off to confront the creature
The Dark Lord scaled a skyscraper, summoning darkness around him, watching as the Ninja corralled the Great Devourer into one spot by tricking it into biting its own tail.
"You are the reason evil runs through my blood. You bit me once. Now feel what it's like to be bitten back." Garmadon shouted at the snake —doubting it understood him—, jumping off the edge of the building at towards the snake's head, "Vengeance will be mine!"
As he attacked its weak spot, it exploded into green goo, covering everything around it as well as flinging across the city and surrounding villages in it as well.

Once the beast was dead, Garmadon put the weapons on his back and wiped himself off, beginning to make his escape before the ninja could arrive for their weapons.
The Dark Lord ran through the ruined streets, passing destroyed buildings when he heard loud crying, which by the tone of it was a child.
And how could he sanely call himself a father when he heard a crying child and did not do anything about it?
So he went towards the source, seeing a little girl with blonde hair tied in braids, wearing a patchwork brown shirt and khakis.
She had been left alone sitting in an ambulance while the hospital workers tended to others, no one paying the crying child any mind...except him.
Walking up to her silently, Garmadon watched her green eyes light up when she noticed him.
"You're Lord Garmadon!" She gasped, but her voice wasn't filled with fear as people using had when they saw him, but rather awe
"I am." The Master of Destruction confirmed
Her face lit up, her tears seemingly forgotten, "You killed the monster! You saved the city!"
"I did, didn't I." Garmadon softly said, having not fully realized that yet, all he had been thinking about was protecting Lloyd and getting revenge not what else killing the snake meant.
After a moment of silence, Garmadon asked her why she had been crying.
"The monster destroyed my home. My parents, they're-they're-" She said, her tears reforming as she was reminded of her sadness, stuttering
