The Dark Heirs: Ninjago

Wishes

The Dark Lord walked towards the volcano known as the Golden Peaks, each of the four Golden Weapons in his hands.

He turned back towards the Black Bounty for a second, seeing Harumi and Lloyd staring through the window in the captain's quarters.

"The Golden Peaks, birthplace of the Golden Weapons." Garmadon said as he walked onto the ledge, looking to the golden lava below, raising said weapons into the air as he felt the air grow thick around him, "Yes, it's working."

The weapons were ripped from his hands and flew towards the lava bubble that had approached him, the weapons within glowing, reshaping until the four became one...one Mega Weapon.

Once the merging was complete, the Mega Weapon lowered back into his hold.

Garmadon wrapped his fingers around the golden staff, and instantly a feeling of pain coursed through him that caused him to start groaning and gasping, before a feeling of strength washed over him as the connection between him and the weapon was formed.

"Your eminence, are you okay?" A Venomari soldier asked

The Master of Destruction looked back towards his army, "Yes. In fact, I've never felt more powerful!"

He raised the glimmering weapon into the air, "Now, to conquer Ninjago!"

After the sun rose, Garmadon stood on the bridge, the Mega Weapon laying on the table as a representative from each clan was around him.

"So, what does it do?" The Venomari soldier asked

"The weapon possesses unspeakable powers." The Dark Lord answered

"Like what?" A two-headed Fangpyre asked

Garmadon scowled, "I told you, fool. They're unspeakable!"

A Constrictai pointed out, "It kind of looks like you don't know how to use it."

"Of course, I know how to use it. I just don't have anything to use it on!" The Dark Lord exclaimed

Harumi, who was sitting beside Lloyd, rolled her eyes slightly, giving the other blond a look that said, "He's bluffing."

"Lord Garmadon! We spotted something!" A guard outside the room shouted

Garmadon walked out onto the deck, seeing a four-headed dragon flying above them, "Ah, the ninja's pet. What better way to test out the Mega Weapon's power? Keep up with him, you slithering idiots! Don't let him get away!"

The ship sped up to keep up with the dragon, the Dark Lord aiming the Mega Weapon towards it, "Eliminate Dragon!"

Nothing happened, but he was determined, shouting orders at his army to "Keep it straight!" while ordering the weapon to" Destroy! Fire! Annihilate! Bad Dragon! Shoot it down pretty, pretty please?"

Eventually, the dragon got out of range and the Serpentine began laughing at him, calling his bluff on knowing how to use it.

Garmadon stormed back into the bridge, slamming the door shut so he was alone with his children.

"I bet you'll figure out how to use it soon, dad!" Lloyd encouraged, hugging him

He placed a hand on his son's head, ruffling his hair affectionately; his son always had the power to make him feel better, "Thank you, blossom, I just wish I knew how to use it now."

The Dark Lord then froze, the weapon shining as it registered the wish, not letting him drop it as it used his energy to grant it.

But, since it was a simple wish that did not alter reality, it did not take much.

Garmadon's red eyes blinked as the answer appeared in his head, "The Mega Weapon doesn't have the power to destroy, it only has the power to create!"

He then decided to test it, wanting to see if it could provide a solution to a problem he had yet to address, "Mega Weapon, I wish that Harumi was my biological child."

The weapon glowed again, rewriting reality to cater to his wish, draining him of his energy for the rest of the day.

The Dark Lord panted slightly when the weapon stopped glowing, trying to remember what he had wished for.

He didn't see anything, only his twin children staring at him.

"Are you okay, daddy?" Harumi asked, her mismatched green -left- and red -right- eyes widened in concern

Lloyd nodded, his own mismatched eyes the opposite of his sister's, "Yeah, you look like you're gonna fall over."

Garmadon shook his head, leaning his weight onto the staff, "I'm fine, my loves, I guess the wish to find out how to use the weapon took more out of me than I thought."

He set the Mega Weapon back on the table, stumbling over to them and cupping their faces, "I'm alright, let's have lunch while I think."

Harumi Jade Montgomery-Garmadon was commonly called a nightmare back at Darkley's School for Naughty Children, had been what everyone thought Lloyd would be by taking more after their father to the point that she was referred to as the heir and not him -it had been the inciting action to Lloyd being bullied in the boys' wing.

Personally, Harumi thought herself merely protective of her little brother, not evil -but then again she could say the same of their father.

Which is why when she found out that Gene Ius and Brad Tudabone had been putting fire ants in Lloyd's bed so often that her little twin was still paranoid about it, she had tricked them into following her to the school kitchens, locking them in the walk-in-sized oven and threatening to start it if they did not leave Lloyd alone.

She had also been called deceptively astute, mostly by teachers, as she noticed things that went over others' heads, sometimes even surpassing adults in that matter.

One of her favorite things was figuring out people's secrets. Like how she knew daddy's favorite child was Lloyd no matter how much he tried to hide it and shower them in equal amounts of affection and attention, it made sense though because Lloyd was sweet and loving while she was more reserved about displaying her affection, which she didn't mind because she adored her little brother.

So she was not surprised when daddy went to her after dinner while Lloyd was taking a shower to ask, "Did you ever want to meet your mother, dove? I could arrange something if you do."

The platinum blonde girl shook her head, "We don't want to meet her, daddy. Me and Lloydie talked about it before, she decided she didn't want to be part of our family so we didn't wanna give her the time of our day. She doesn't even deserve to know what we look like, though she'll probably find out soon after you become emperor of Ninjago and Lloyd becomes the prince and I'm the princess and she'll regret leaving us and missing her chance to be empress. Either way, daddy, we don't need anything from her because you're the best daddy ever and make up for us not having a mom worth talking about."

Garmadon said nothing else for the rest of the time Lloyd was showering, just hugging her close until it was her turn to bathe...
