Gods are many. But not as many as the number of humans there is in the world.
But of the many gods, there are kinds that are less in number. Due to several reasons.
One of them would be Trade gods. Like me. Unlike other gods, they don't depend on humans for their power. Their power come from the elements itself. They control it, they are It. Mine... I exist because this exist.
I grow because I trade. It's not necessary for me to trade with humans . But it's easier because they're so easy to... Dupe ? Manipulate? See through ?
Then again, humans are fragile and easy to prey on, on their weakest. I take that back, anyone would be.
That's me. Mephisto.
Mephisto: how about that ?
" My soul, for the death of another human ? "
Mephisto: he dies immediately. You don't, until I decide to collect.
" And that can be any time ?"
Mephisto: well, we could have another deal then.
" And no one would know is me ?"
Mephisto: no one.
" I could hire someone for less." He said.
This one is a politician. Trying to kill of his rival.
Mephisto: then why are you here ? In my shabby office.
I used to set my place in a rich people area of a stretch of houses. They like to compare and deal with over very little and tiny things just to have a win and edge over. The olden days was easy and funner.
Then times changed. Money could do a lot of things now. So I moved here. A place where a lot of thugs and gangsters are. Seem dark and messy they are. But there always people and opportunities where their desperate. Easier here.
But I do get the often referrals of rich people in here. For things they cannot get with money.
Like him.
" So you can kill him ? And... Also make the rest of his family emptied of money ? They'll never be able to reach their hands into the political world."
Mephisto: so... You don't want the rest of then killed ?
" No. "
Mephisto: selectively choosy. Sure. Three souls plus... 5
10 million.
" What ? Just for a kill and emptying their money ? "
Mephisto:and never be able to have their hands in the political world. That's the deal
" That is unfair !! "
Mephisto: that's the deal.
".... You devil. " And he shakes his hand with Mephisto.
Who said trades had to be fair ?
