She's been called a witch because of how long she's been living & the amount of things she did , that couldn't be called good or bad.

She tried as hard as she could to give her a smile. But ilise could tell. She was tired, and ... Struggling to be happy.
She wasn't ever like that. She always smiled vibrantly whenever she came back from wherever.
Ilise : are you still angry at father ?
Nana : huh ?
Ilise ; I heard... Loud sounds yesterday. Like... Fighting.
Her empty eyes gained focus and looked to her. She comes down from where she sat and hugged ilise . She squeezes her " ilise. We weren't fighting. You're safe. Ok ?"
And a few days later she left the house to return back to the army.

Shadow Demon: it may not be home for you there. But I'm sure your squad is.
She smiled a little " um ! I'm going back to them ! You're right. " She then said " you always seem to know how to make me smile."
