The peace treaty came down and the government of Assedon starts their own discussion. Who they should send ? What terms should they accept ?
Then a break was given after long discussions. The ministers were released for a short break.
One of the more important minister, Alex Bains was approached. " Mr Bains. Someone wants to see you. Could you follow me ?" A personel that worked in the parliament talked to him.
Alex : who ?
" A reporter . "
Alex : no thanks.
" She said she has something very important to show you. Has to do with the peace treaty."
" Hm ?" Alex followed the personel.

He was led to one of the rooms. As soon as he entered he sees a girl in there and the personel leaves.
Alex : where are your parents? You shouldn't be here little girl.
Nana : if only I get a dollar every time I heard that.
Alex : excuse me ?
Nana ; I'm nana. I fix things. That's my business.
Alex : oh. My apologies. You are a dwarf . Our country don't have many dwarves.
Nana: they prefer their own country I guess.
Alex : you said you have something ?
Nana : yes. I'm not a dwarf by the way. Edness Millerton. Sound familiar?
Alex : ah. The Millerton family. They've been known to be a long line of politicians.
Nana : choose her to be your representative of this country.
Alex : or what?
Nana : nothing. She's the best fit. That's all.
Alex ; we have diplomats that have real experience.
Nana : ok. Because I have strings I can pull . Strings that can ensure you may be able to get what you want. At the end of peace talks. And I'll only work with Edness Millerton.
Alex : you are bluffing
Nana: I killed King Polusia the 14th. Oops. No one knows that. So I put King Polusia the 15th up there.
Alex: you're just taking advantage of what had already happened and saying it to be yours.
Nana : ok. A politician like yourself that comes from a long line of family that does the same. I trust you all politicians have either the same or few of the same person you go to for information. Right ?
Alex : what about it ?
Nana : I'm Nana Hailarose. Ask him to look into me. Look into Polusia. I'll wait for your news.

So Alex did as she said. He was curiously who she was. How she could just enter parliament so easily without anyone noticing she wasn't supposed to belong there. She must have some strings she really pulled.
The information broker he used had approached him that night
" Mr Bains."
Alex : what did you find ?
" Well. Quite a bit. I have a file. "
Alex ; did she really go to Polusia?
" Yes. Opened a business there. Got her legs broken by King Killen. And as to whether if she killed him..."
Alex : I don't need evidence. Speculation is fine.
" She did enter and leave the gates before and after he died. Then King Killen was just announced dead . Reason of death, is sickness. "
Alex : it could be a coincidence.
" Could be. But erm... It's definite that her son Tedine who is taking over the business there has some grip in the country there."
Alex : got it. So you're saying it's possible.
" And also... She's Edness Millerton 's.... House guest ? "
Alex : what do you mean ?
" She used to be Neva Yaerren's wife. But they divorced and Neva married with Edness. But she's still staying under the same roof with them."
Alex : what kind of woman is she ?
" A Shaden. "
Alex : that's not what I mean.

So the next day he goes to visit her.
Nana ; hi Mr Alex.
Alex ; that's a weird way to call people.
Nana : I like to call people by their direct name. Makes us... Closer just by a little bit.
Alex : I've thought over it
Nana : and ?
Alex : how do I know you won't betray us ? That after all it will just end up in your pocket for benefits.
Nana : I have to get something out of it. But for that to happen, the peace treaty must succeed
Alex : what do you want?
Nana : none of your business. I could , make a magic deal with you. A contract
Alex : with what conditions?
Nana : you make Edness Millerton the representative, I'll try my best to make your dreams of the peace treaty come true.
Alex ; with what penalty ?
Nana ; our family member's life. Any random one.
" You're one mean one. " Alex reached out his hand " deal."
Nana takes it.
Of course. This benefits me more. I can't revive dead people. But I can stop the process of dying.
