She returned to Dewery , back to the 4 adopted children's home. That's when she realised there was a party going on. She was a big confused. But she went in anyway with three kids she had brought along with her back from the battlefield.
Amira ; aww. A surprise party for us.
Grey ; our sweet sweet nana.
Nana : no... I don't know anything about it.
Esper ; anyways, let's put down our luggages. Please tell me you have servants here.
Nana : hey !! Could you help my friends ?
" Yes ma'am. Welcome back ma'am."

It was very crowded indeed. A lot of people came. Then the eldest , Esther came over " Nana. You're back."
Nana : I am. What's going on... ? Someone's birthday I missed ?
Esther laughed a little " you weren't always here, but you never forgot our birthdays."
Nana : it was the least I should do as your guardian. So... The party...
Esther ; is for you. We read your letter that you're quitting and coming back for good.
Nana : yes.
Esther : so this is a party for you. They always said we didn't have any parent after... Our other parents left.
Nana : I'm sorry. It must be hard for you. Why didn't you tell me ? I would have set straight with them.
Esther : it's ok. You're busy fighting for the country. We know your scars.
And I meant it. Lent always send new pictures of her scars to us over the Mirrored. Lent even has an album in his Mirrored , that keeps all the pictures of her scars. She probably doesn't know, just thinking he's a sweet little boy.
She was never here, but she made sure to take care of the younger ones who were with her. I called everyday as I was worried. But she did as promised, and returned back to them everyday.
I think the day, I really appreciated her existence was when she was bleeding all over her arm as she returned back home. Marie called back to us immediately, worried and scared. Her voice shivering, saying that Nana was going to die.
I remember hearing her voice over the Mirrored " it's ok kids. I'll be fine. Don't worry. I won't let you guys be homeless again."
That sentence... It struck me, struck all of us. I cried. She really cares about us.
Nana : aww. You're so sweet. But there's so many people ...
Tedine, the second eldest walked over " enjoy it. It wasn't easy to get this crowd."
April (the fourth) : I told them you don't like this crowd
Jon ( the third ) : oh shush. What do you know ?
Nana : alright. I'll go put down my things.

Nana had taken off her army clothes. She donned back her usual black dress and pointy hat. She did like her usual wearings better .
Her snake, Hebi slithers around her pointy hat.
Nana : found a new place ?
Hebi : sssss
Shadow Demon knocked and came in " Miss Nana."
Nana : Shadow Demon. Your master sent you ?
Shadow Demon: kind of.
Nana : I can, take care of myself. I just exited the army you know.
Shadow Demon: then for the kids.
Nana : I'm teasing you. Go. Enjoy the party.
Shadow Demon: you don't like parties. Right ?
Nana : um. I don't know all of those people. But I know why Esther did it. To prove to everyone, I actually exist.
Shadow Demon: maybe you can show your face a while, and then go hide in a corner
Nana ; hmmm... Maybe I will do that. *smiles* you always give such good suggestions.
Shadow Demon: thank you. .....oh. New pet ?
Nana : it's hebi. A little bit of my soul. Cute right ?
Hebi slithers down nana and goes around Shadow Demon. It goes around him a bit more and then gently slithers up his leg.
Nana : aww. It likes you. That's so rare. I had to tell it to not harm people specifically on first sight.
Shadow Demon shrugs.

She comes out of her room and walks down the stairs to head towards the food.
That's when she heard a commotion.
" She's your mother? Oh. Don't joke. She's like a kid "
Tedine : she, is.
" Come on. Are you kids so desperate you hired someone to just show up ?"
Lent ; our mom is a soldier!!
Barry (the sixth) : yea !!! That's why she isn't home all the time !!
Lent : and I have photos to prove it.
Marie : you're the useless one !!
" Yea !!" The other two younger kids followed.
Nana made her way there " hi. I'm nana. Deseri Army, Company 14th , Elite Squad soldier. Colonel Nana Hailarose. Is there a problem here ?"
" You sure memorised your lines well. Actor. Hahahaha."
Nana : you treat all soldiers this way ?
" Just, actors."
Amira had crept up to behind him with a dinner knife " I really don't like what you just said."
" You wouldn't dare."
Amira ; I've killed many. Why do you think I would twitch over pushing this knife in ?
Nana : sorry. My soldier partner is like this. We would like some respect.
" Thugs. She may be an assassin for all we know."
Nana : regardless. You have to acknowledge my power.
" Tsk. I'm sorry. Ok ?!!"
Nana : thank you. Amira.
Amira takes the knife away " ugh. Fat rich people."
