Nana bows " hi General Exidus."
Reed ; it's ok to call me Reed. You're not a soldier anymore.
Nana : erm ok.
Reed : I heard what Ania said. It's also part of the reason why I let you call me Reed .
Nana : I can call you back Mr Exidus.
Reed ; anyone who wants to stop this stupid war is my friend. So you're my friend now. You can call me Reed.
Nana : you're bic hearted and very nice.
Reed : we aren't a big House. My ancestor worked hard to get what he got. He didn't have any relatives so we started out as a small family. We are still a small family. We never married for wealth you see.
Nana : you guys are nice real people for generations.
Reed : I knew the story of how the war started from my dad. The story was made sure to be passed down from my ancestor. We were taught to not fight for blood. Fight to protect the civilians. That's why we've never left the borders . We don't do ... What the Saluvors call it....
Nana : Attack campaigns
Reed : yes. But Deseri is a good general. She is good to her subordinates, protects the people as well. Just sometimes she does these attack campaigns I don't really agree of. But I understand why. She is a strong woman anyway.
Nana : but you're better. You never takeover your enemy's spot when they're weak.
Reed : it's not about being gentleman. I'm just not interested in caring which land is whose.
Nana : Mr Ania cares.
Reed : I scold him too. He always just tells me, but it's there. Might as well.
Nana : haha. Sounds like him.
Reed : I'll do what you want. But one condition.
Nana : that is ?
Reed : look , I know your guy there is strong.
Nana looks to Shadow Demon.
Reed : but I want to spar with you. Ask him not to interfere
Nana : with me ?
Reed : Eries is my daughter. I married Ania's younger sister.
Nana ; eh ?!!! Leader never told us that !! She said her last name is... Havelock.
Reed laughed " that's her lover's last name. They did get married before he died. She never really tells those stories though."
Nana : no... We don't really ask.
Reed : so she told me about you. A very cool subordinate she got. She said you might even be as good as her because of your troublesome abilities. You were the best she trained.
Nana sweatdropped" leader... Why... "
Reed : so that's my condition.
Shadow Demon: Miss. I think you should still let me.
Nana : it's ok. I don't believe Mr Reed will kill me.
Reed : can't get use to it calling me Reed ?
Nana : you're my leader's father...
" alright. Are you ready ? " He makes an axe that had a long handle materialise in his hand. He then strikes the blade into the ground, lightning strikes to the ground causing the floor to split and crack towards her in one instant.
In that instant, she had lost her left arm.
" that's... " He said puzzled. Then he realized a presence behind " ...it ?!!!" He finishes his sentnce in surprise as he turns around to already see her behind him.
* Clank. * Her two daggers against his axe.
He grinned seeing her arm back " your Flash Step is good. But your arm..."
Flash step >> A common magic that can be used by all . Allows very limited range and very short distance teleportation. Only suitable for fighting.
His axe buzzed with lighting ready to release. She pushes and gets a distance away.
" My abilities... Is not really the magic offensive type. That's why I have her." Nana said as the snake wrapped around her neck hissed. " Poisons. Healing. Quick Regeneration that makes me almost invincible."
Reed : I see. A soul pet.
Nana : yes.
" Then... How good are you actually?" He throws his axe at her. It spins in the air and goes straight for her.
She shifted her body slightly to the left and let's it fly pass her and she charges to his front. He summons the axe to return to his hand .
So now the axe was literally flying towards her back.
*Flash Step*
She was right at his front. With her blade at his neck.
But so did he already grabbed onto his axe withe blade on the back of her neck.
Nana: I guess we're at an impasse
" Well... " The axe starts to fire up...
Shadow Demon : Miss !!!
Nana : shit.
" Dad !!! " Someone called out and a shard of ice flies into his hand freezing up his entire hand and his axe and the lightning into an ice clover.
Reed: ouch !!
Nana : leader !!
Eries ; you trying to kill her ?!!!
Reed ; it would just hurt right ? You're almost unkillable.
Nana slowly moves out away from General Reed" haha. For that... I would sustain some serious injuries. "
Reed : but you made your arm come back !
Nana : it would hurt.
Eries : stupid. What brings you here ?
Reed: for a deal. Which I've just agreed to.
Nana : really?
Reed : I never said you had to win
Nana : hehe. Thank you.
Reed ; no, if you suceed , thank, you. Now... *Looks at eries* You trying to kill me ?!!
Eries : like you can die from that.
" Is it ?" The ice she set had spread to his arm. She looked away. With a little lightning sparks all the ice breaks.
