A Raven's Immortal Love

                    Adel watches her sons build a snowman from the back porch when suddenly Sam's pack walks out from the tree line. Charlie and Erik rush to their mother's side as Sam walks over with something in his hand. "It's good to see you, Sam. I hope the travel here wasn't too hard," Adel said as Bella walked out of the house.

                    Sam hands Adel a piece of paper, "Alice asked me to give you that. She and Jasper crossed our paths on the way here," he explained. Adel reads the note and frowns in confusion.

                    "Adel?" Bella called out.

                    "They've left us..," Adel said, surprising Bella.

                    "Why?" Bella asked.

                    "She didn't say," Adel said.

                    "Can I see that?" Bella asked. Adel nods and hands her mate the note. It read, 'Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come'. Bella turns the note over and sees that it's a page torn from 'The Merchant of Venice' by William Shakespeare. Alice's instructions were clear, but the question remained. Why would she and Jasper leave at the moment they needed them most? What did they know?

                    A few days later, Esme and Carlisle return with a young man and woman. The man's name was Benjamin. He had a boyish youthful look with red eyes, midnight-colored hair, olive pallor to his pale skin, and an oddly cheerful look. The woman with him was his mate, Tia. She has olive skin, and her hair is heavy, straight, and midnight-colored similar to her mates. Benjamin kneels before Charlie and stays perfectly still as Charlie touches his cheek. A few seconds pass then Benjamin takes Charlie's hand. He creates a small tornado made of dirt in his hands, making Charlie smile. Erik rushes over excitedly and creates lighting in the palm of his hands.

                    "Benjamin can influence the elements similar to Erik's lighting," Adel explained.

                    "And here I get super self-control," Bella said. Suddenly Adel's head whipped to the right, catching everyone's attention.

                   "Adel, what's wrong?" Esme asked.

                  "We have company," Adel said. Then two female vampires appear out of nowhere.

                   "Who are they?" Bella asked.

                    "Senna and Zafrina. From the Amazon," Adel explained. Zafrina has blood-red eyes and chocolate skin. She wore an outfit of animal skins that clung to her athletic figure. Zafrina wears her long black hair in a braid and also has very long limbs, long fingers, and facial features. Her coven member Senna has similarities to Zafrina, like having blood-red eyes and dark skin. She is very tall with wild dark hair and wears nothing but animal skins. Bella and Adel take Charlie and Erik to Senna and Zafrina. The arrival of Senna and Zafrina meant that the Cullen's plea was being heard in even the most remote corners of the world while others searched for witnesses closer to home. A patriot Adel first met on the battlefield at Yorktown would become our most unlikely ally.
