A few years before Rainie transferred to Tantei High, when Hideo's out for formal meetings as president of the school, he would usually ask Michiko to visit Akemi's grave. Michiko would go even without him asking and will bring green flowers or Demi with her. Demi will just sit on her lap as she tells Akemi how much the cat has grown close to her or some stories about her career as a teacher.
