- Ken (headcanon) -

Ken always brings a spare hair tie for Akane and knows how to do simple braid. When he was a kid, Akane's dad, Kohaku, told him about how he learned to tie her daughter's hair and that he always keeps a spare tie. Ken retained that memory and initially, he only brought the hair tie because Kohaku asked him to do so, until it became his habit to bring it anywhere. He keeps that ready in case Akane loses her own hair tie or if her hair gets in the way while she's studying or training.
